There is this machine they sell, you lay on your back and prop your legs up, and it decompresses your back, it kinda looks like a small stool cut in half. It does a circular motion with your legs propped up. Supposed to work really well for decompression, they have belts too, also lifts up your spine to decompress that pressure. Or you can just strap a belt on the bottom of the bunk and inch your upper body up away

Hey JJ. I feel ya man. I got 8 crushed discs. Sciatica, spinal stenosis, facets disease etc etc. If I may make a suggestion. Go find a GOOD neurosurgeon and get an MRI. There may be more going on. I’ve been battling all this since 2011. Feel better buddy!!

Getting the mri is probably a good idea but I don't even know where to start as far as how to get one.
@@JJtheTrucker If you have a primary doctor he could order it. I know it’s not easy when you’re on the road but a good emergency room would order one also.

Sorry to hear about your sciatica. I went through it with my left leg. Although I never visited a chiropractor, I did stretches until it went away and now I do stretches to try and prevent it from happening again. I hope it eases up for you soon 😊
I don’t have sciatic or anything but the stretching for that is really nice.

I feel the pain JJ , I had the same problem in my neck. It took about 8 months before I resolved my pain. It forced me out of the truck after 27 years. Or it was a spine fusion if I wanted to continue driving.

I have extreme back pain from time to time in about two weeks ago it came on and it was the worst than it ever been. Finally, I got some scans done and addition to the normal back problems I have I now have arthritis in my spine that is deteriorating

You need a inversion table I used one and my back quit hurting for 21/2 3 months you step into it at a 45 flip back and twist and flex your upper body and decompress your back but you need to lay down flat after

I just had back surgery back in November for a couple of herniated disc and a cyst on my spine. I had hellish sciatica too. You need to get a CT scan or an MRI to find out what the real problem is!

get yourself an inverter machine, i had a herniated disc and had surgery to fix it. sciatica hurts. try the inverter machine hangs you upside down and lets the disc decompress. it’s amazing how good it helps.

🙏🙏 for the spinal decompression to work. Easy riding on your bike will help also 💪💪🇺🇸.I had the EXACT same thing when I was a mail handler. It WILL go away, but will take some time. Sciatica is painful and stubborn. My whole family has it. But it will pass. Also, think about a cortisone shot. It worked for me

I've got one and it helps relieve muscle tension but doesn't really help with the sciatica and the vertebrae.
I feel your pain about editing, I have three videos that I've filmed but just can't find the motivation to edit them. Sorry to hear about your back, lower back injuries are the worst. I sprained a facet joint on a lumbar vertebrae a few years ago and it was the most painful thing. Took months to get sorted out. My dad also had nerve issues in his lower back, he had to eventually get surgery to get it fixed. Hope you get it figured out soon!

Yeah, and it's a bit better on the 220. Hope they really fix the roadway instead of patching it up.
@@JJtheTrucker Believe me I live in Shreveport and they really did tear up the road and putting down new sand and will put new concrete down.
Man JJ I'm glad to see you post again, but sorry to hear about your newly developed sciatica. My wife recently developed the same thing but with her left leg and it's difficult to understand but she's in pain all the time.
Jj I have the same issue I went to my local apolstry shop and had then make me a 4 in thick cushion out of memory foam with a cut out for my tail bone made all the differance

JJ I'm from England going through the same my doctor put me on Pregabalin and they work on the nervous system hope that helps. The other option is to have a operation on the discs where they clear agap round the spinal column.

@@JJtheTrucker you need to be on 300mg twice a day plus 2 paracetamol as well let me know how you get on keep safe.
JJ, get yourself and MRI immediately. You could have a spinal cord compression. It could cause paralysis if you continue with your current regiment.
Yeah the x-rays from the chiropractor months ago showed spinal compression in my lower back. I just don't know how to go about getting an MRI.
@@JJtheTrucker well the Chiro probably isn’t going to offer it. You need to be seen by an MD. I’ve had a spinal cord compression twice and both times I needed surgery. It’s very dangerous to not get that treated if that’s what it is.
I'm sorry that you're hurting, I had a lumbar fusion a few years ago, I feel your pain. Are you still leading with Landstar? If so, I am wanting to know how the money is? Like how much is the average amount per mile? My co-driver and I are looking to buy a truck. Do you know if they work with teams? I hope you're feeling better.
Hey, sorry for the late response. I'm feeling better and hopefully will be coming back soon er rather than later.
Landstar has been good for me regarding money and opportunities. Of course it's slow right now, as with anywhere, but there are still plenty of loads because the Landstar agents also get loads from the public load boards. More options. And yes, they absolutely love team drivers and have loads that are specifically meant for team drivers. It's easy to filter the load board to show just those loads. Hope that helps.

Before I had a spinal fusion I was where you are. Ask your doc for lidocaine pads. They work great. Stick it on top of pain area and it numbs it. Lasts for a couple of hours. You can get lower dose ones otc.
