Great cover...I've recently noticed a few covers of this song from people from the Phillipines. Was/is this song popular there? I'm from New Zealand where Bic Runga is from. She is like a national treasure (in my opinion). It is so cool to see people from outside New Zealand covering this song. I love this song. No one asked but I highly recommend the album it comes off called "Drive" :)
I'm from the Philippines and we love Bic so much especially this song by her which is way too popular in my country. We used to play this in a karaoke before but now with the advent of technology and different music platforms we are able to hear her songs everywhere especially we play it with our gitara " guitar" during inuman "drinking party" sessions with friends and family. We love Bic so much because of her appearance too, she really look like a Filipino ☺️
