My Grandmother has something similar to this - she’s in her 70s and hadn’t eaten for about 25 years. The fact that she is going through that everyday and dealing with it so bravely gives so much courage to me. I got diagnosed with kidney failure earlier this year and it was so sudden and shocking because there was no definite reason for my disease, the kidney patients have to be on a very strict diet and the thing with me is that i love food, love exploring and experimenting with food, and the news of my disease was very very shocking to me. I was heartbroken because there was no clear answer as to how or why I got the issue, I just did( pure luck I guess). Seeing this video gives me so much hope and courage that i can't even explain. I just hope I move on from this and do better in my life. More power to you, you brave woman! Stay happy and blessed ❤✨
My father’s friend had a similar issue, where he couldn’t eat anything. He went to the hospital, and the doctors managed to cure him. Unfortunately, he was hospitalized again, and passed away. Rest in peace, and fortunes to his wife and children.
Oh my... I could never. Food is so important for me. I feel so bad for her. 😢 Even if she is good with that already, I still feel sad that this is happening to her.
It's an awful condition and also goes by "gastroparesis" and often goes unnoticed/ignored by doctors! Hopefully sharing her story brings more awareness and understanding to the story.
I didn’t know this was a thing and it makes me sad for her. Food is one of life’s greatest pleasures. At least she still enjoys cooking for others, that’s beautiful.
Yeah I really appreciate the work of people in the medical field who invent things like this. It helps so many people have some semblance of normal life
this happened to me for almost a year. healed by faith because no med can do it. i eat rice forridge with lil salt for 3months. now i am adjusting myself to eat as healthy as i can. mindful eating does not mean your a picky eater. health matters when you go through so much pain. and i give all my gratitude to our Creator, it really helps me.🙏🌟
So sorry to hear about this. Not being able to eat or drink sounds like torture to me. I hope, one day soon, they can find a way to wake your stomach up. Is it only your stomach that's paralyzed or is your intestines involved? What about hydration? I can kind of relate to your illness. I was diagnosed with severe Crohn's disease in 1997. I wasn't supposed to live after my colon ruptured. There were months when I couldn't eat or drink anything because my stomach would be in excruciating pain even after swallowing 1 bite of food. It didn't matter if it was bland mashed potatoes. It made me sick. I was on fluids and TPN, a.k.a. "steak in a bag" a lot. I was told years later that I have "ileus". That's where parts of my small intestines stop flowing with the rest. It happens mostly from having multiple abdominal surgeries. So, part of it is paralyzed temporarily. It takes about 2-5 days to start back up. Having no colon, I dehydrate very easily so, whenever this starts up and doesn't resolve in a couple of days, I have to be hospitalized and given fluids until my intestines decide to work again. Unfortunately, if it's severe, I have to have an NG tube.
I DO THAT! I’m npo, I have an ng tube but I love to cook and bake. Since I cannot eat, I have my family try my food or I give it to friends. It’s very difficult but I still get to do what I love so I’m happy
@@aimun5255 I don’t actually know for sure, I think it’s gastroparisis since I can’t keep any food down and part of my stomach is paralyzed, but we don’t know for sure and I’m still getting tests and things done a year later.

Seeing a woman who not able to taste foods and stuff for literally 7 years hit me because I realized strep throat can go away at least 5 days of medicine so its curable but what she has isn’t. Thanks Nasdaily
I'm the same as this lady but from a different condition. Even if your body has all the nutrition it needs, if you aren't actually eating anything by mouth, your brain kinda freaks out and thinks you're gonna starve. So it makes you obsessed with food, watching cooking videos, cooking it, smelling food... anything to satisfy your brain when it freaks out bc it can't realise it doesn't need to eat food to survive. Sometimes I do just eat the food anyway, and accept that I'm gonna end up throwing up

Going forth with kindheartedness, cooking for her friends and family ❤️ this is how it goes. You go, girl ❤️
thanks be to God and You are absolutely right.
Now people will realize how blessed we are actually we can eat good food
More power to you too bro!!Love from India. Praying to God for your well being ❤️
I have the same necklace as that chef! I’m so happy about that! Btw she is a really good person! ❤
She is the most positive person on the world . Thank you Nas Daily for remainding me how blessed I am
I have that and I cook too! Actually a lot of us do. It’s a way to be involved in meal times and the social aspect of food that is so huge.
“And she cooks using her.. NOSE” lol the nose was so exaggerated 😂😂
that is sooo sad😭😭 but she stayed strong
My father’s friend had a similar issue, where he couldn’t eat anything. He went to the hospital, and the doctors managed to cure him. Unfortunately, he was hospitalized again, and passed away. Rest in peace, and fortunes to his wife and children.
Oh my... I could never. Food is so important for me. I feel so bad for her. 😢 Even if she is good with that already, I still feel sad that this is happening to her.
Now i know how precious to have a normal life is..😢😢😢 may god bless you and lead you to a good path
That’s top level bravery. Respect.
She is so grateful and brave for the things she have and she couldn't eat for 7 years I can't eat for 1 hour lol but the fact she doesn't give up 🥺💔
Woah and me here eating when I'm not hungry too
@@bruhbruh843. bot is bot 🤖
She is so brave . My heart literally skipped a beat when she said she has paralysed stomach
Grateful for the Constant Motivation ❤️
She is such an inspiration!! It's so nice that she didn't let her paralyzed stomach stop her from doing what she love❤️
Omg I cannot imagine, and never even knew something like this existed. You are amazing 😍😍😍😍 you are one of my new inspiration.
😢it's really sad that she can't eat the food she prepared but you are truly amazing for not giving up
We can never thank almighty enough for his blessings 🙂🙏
Power to the lady
Imagine not eating food for the rest of your life, that'd make me cry. Also I didn't know you could get your nutrients that way, sounds neat
Yeah I really appreciate the work of people in the medical field who invent things like this. It helps so many people have some semblance of normal life
That dedication 👏 Hats off 👏🙏🏻
Imagine cooking such delicious food and not being able to eat it 🥺 Just the imagination hurts. God bless this brave lady ❤️✨
I will forever keep this in my mind. Now this is what I call a moral of a story.
Being positive is the key for a happy life thanks Nasdaily I always be happy for what I own because of U❤️ big respect to this woman
I salute you for your courage and patience Loretta
I was like "how tf is that possible-"
Same!
At first, I thought this was a parody...
this happened to me for almost a year. healed by faith because no med can do it. i eat rice forridge with lil salt for 3months. now i am adjusting myself to eat as healthy as i can. mindful eating does not mean your a picky eater. health matters when you go through so much pain. and i give all my gratitude to our Creator, it really helps me.🙏🌟
Are you a Christian?
Amen

This person gut bacteria: “Am I a joke too you?”
Same here, except marijuana was the cure
MrBeast has Crohn’s Disease
Love you loretta. ❤ Happy for you. You're such a motivation
me literally just thinking about how you find so many people to introduce them to us
maybe people contact NasDaily
I DO THAT! I’m npo, I have an ng tube but I love to cook and bake. Since I cannot eat, I have my family try my food or I give it to friends. It’s very difficult but I still get to do what I love so I’m happy
Keep going!!
Sorry if this is too invasive but why are you NPO, do you have the same condition too?
@@aimun5255 I don’t actually know for sure, I think it’s gastroparisis since I can’t keep any food down and part of my stomach is paralyzed, but we don’t know for sure and I’m still getting tests and things done a year later.
You got thiss!!!!
Serious question. Why can’t you taste it without swallowing the food? Wouldn’t that be easier than asking friends & family to help?
It's really amazing 😍.
People like her are just motivation for everyone.
and remind us not to give up🙇🏼🙇🏼🔥
Damn that must have been scary to go through getting a diagnosis. Im glad they were able to find a solution
Lord you must of allowed me to see this. My goodness I take so much things for granted. My Dear, Loretta you are AWESOME! You are an inspiration ❤❤❤❤
I’m so sorry 😞 i ll never forget to count my blessings again. Hope she finds a cure soon

_Can't eat the food , still continuing as a chef ,,, you are posing a potent risk to others_ 😋😂
No i m kidding, u r great and inspiring , keep ur head high ❤
I love that she didn't lose hope in herself and saying No hope no life but she didn't give up made me have more hope:)
As a west African.. I was train not to feel emotion but I just Google the lady name to know more for her.. She is special.. Her God should keep guiding her. ❤
I feel so sorry for her, may God never do this to anyone and she gets a cure one day🙏🏻
This is the fourth time I came across this exact short😂
May God Bless Her❤️🤲
Paralyze stomach here and motility G-tube dependent much love and light. I use my nose also since my scent has gotten stronger.❤
You at the beginning: You sure he doesn't eat any food(suspicious).
You at the end: I was wrong, i was dead wrong.
Ngl seeing this have me ashamed of having strep throat for 3 days and complaining about throwing up and not having any of my favorite foods but just eating soup but too painful to finish it all and need medicine but keep gagging and stuff. My moms actually a great nurse and now today as I still have it I tried other things to drink beside the pediolyte (spelled it wrong) but to drink fruit punch gatorade and sips of water. Seeing a woman who not able to taste foods and stuff for literally 7 years hit me because I realized strep throat can go away at least 5 days of medicine so its curable but what she has isn’t. Thanks Nasdaily
Bro i feel like crying I COULD NOT MAGINE not being able to eat food and tasting it
I'm the same as this lady but from a different condition. Sometimes I do just eat the food anyway, and accept that I'm gonna end up throwing up
God Bless you beautiful!! Such an inspiration!!
The emotional damage when the recipe says “taste for salt”
bro literally she admires...❤️
I feel so bad for her, she is so strong I could never.😢I would just eat and die😂😂😂
🤣😭 same fr
She’s just so brave I can never be her…
she has faced the toughest times of her age
Thank you Loretta for sharing !! ❤
may God heal her in Jesus' name. Amen 🙏
Amen.
He won't. My mom thought so too. She died waiting faithfully for nothing.
@@goozfrabah579 sorry for your lost. God ways are not man's. When you put your trust in God's hands, just be prayerful. Remember God is always with you if you repent of your sins and follow his son Jesus Christ. God's time is the best.

Ya ALLAH. These things make us realise about the verse from the QURAN "which favours of your lord would you deny?"
There are so many blessings we've been granted yet we focus only on what bothers us. We should always be grateful and thankful to ALLAH (God) for blessings that we don't even realise we've been blessed with. ALHAMDULILLAH, Ameen♥️
