"Japan Heritage" is a program recognized by the Agency for Cultural Affairs to recognize stories that tell of the culture and traditions of Japan through the historical attractions and characteristics of a region.

私は日本に生まれませんでした。しかしマーティさんと同じように２５年間に日本と日本の文化が自分の生活の一部です。外人として勿論「日本に生まれてよかった」とは言えないけど「日本の文化に死ぬ前にふられてよかった」と言えるので感謝します。

カコフォニーで初めてマーティーさんのギターを聞いた時のことを思い出しました、今もＣＤが棚の中にあります。発売日に買ったんですよ。演歌を彷彿とさせるフレーズに思わず笑っていしまいましたが、当時はまさかここまで日本に馴染むと思っていませんでした。

日本の国には、他国にはない奥深い精神文化が凝縮されている。
足長すぎてしっかり正座できないマーティが可愛い。まあ、こっちはその足の長さが羨ましいわけだが…。

The Guitar is Marty's multi dimensional voice. What words cannot convey Marty's Music does so very well. The landscape you have painted in this piece is Wonderful.
