A woman in my church died recently. The day before she did, she wrote a post on Facebook about how her heart was aching for the lost to turn to Christ. She ended the post with "come with me, my friends." The next day she suffered a massive heart attack and went home with Jesus. I think of her often and her final line. "Come with me, my friends." For some reason, this song makes me think of her. Come with us, friends. Come home to Jesus.

Several years ago I cried singing this song after my ex wife left, seeking strength and help from the Lord. I now sing it to praise him for my blessed life after walking me through that storm with him alone!
At this very minute I feel the same as what you wrote. I heard this today like other days, at church, but as I sit in bed right now , I am thinking about the pain I am feeling because my exboyfriend walked out on me a few months ago. And yes only He can get us through the storm.

Because at the end of the day, Jesus is glooming at his brothers and sisters with such love and compassion. Praise the Lord. Amen.

guys i cant explain the fire i feel right now listening to this song, i had a dream last night that the second coming occurred. i felt so complete, our bodies cant handle such ecstasy, i remember for a moment, God just paused and just had a big dancefloor of praise. And i also only remember in parts. i was soo happy, but i also thought of the masses of people that were gonna perish, and never be able to experience this joy, ever. and it completely thrashed my heart.
so now my flame got even more renewed to save people, and today God just filled me with such power. im so undone guys, get on my level !! dont miss out on this uncontainable fire of joy
