So I see no officer being dragged....see him running after the car for about 2 seconds then hurling himself at it. I would charge the cop with filing false report, fire the Chief and kick out the DA for not dropping the charges.

What you cannot see on the video is behind the huge bus. Scottie ran his car up onto the curb to get around the bus after the cops told him to stop. at 0:28 you can clearly see the officer run into the car.. wasn't dragged. Unfortunately there is a bigger problem in the deparment than the arrest of Mr. Sheffler. Does it seem strange to you that NOT ONE PERSON (Police or otherwise) came forward and said "hey! that's not what happened". Not one. And from the video(s) there appears to be quite a few people on scene working the accident site. So the only thing I can surmise is that the mindset of the department is to cover for a bad cop (I saw nothing). They saw it but elected to remain silent.
How do you fix that? You know the answer ..start at the top and clean house.

the Prosecutor is as corrupt as the Police...
the "Officer" committed false arrest, false imprisonment, aggravated assault, aggravated battery, mis-malfeasance, falsifying charges, falsifying government documents, deprivation of rights; the "Officer" is also the sole cause if 95% of his injuries (latching onto a moving automobile when he could have (being an accident scene recreation expert) instead pounded on the hood or trunk to get the driver's attention)...
the Prosecutor is also REQUIRED to disclose exculpatory evidence, AND prosecute the "Officer" if there is evidence of the "Officers" wrong doing...
If there is any true Justice the "Officer" should not be being treated as thought everything he did was lawful, and everything Scottie did was unlawful...🤔

Integrity looks like Swiss cheese with blue shoe prints in dirty water, Because she can't explain the felony charges placed on this golfer...hmmm? It's like you rather go the extra mile to hide your misconduct then take the loss & give a public apology.. even if the guy doesn't win at golf.. he's going to definitely win this case. And the cheif gets one more bad mark on her public opinion chart for lack of confidence to protect...her integrity is ruined by her own officers. Watched the New Videos
    1st Video doesn't show much.
    2nd Video shows
    1. Up to 6 Officers there who evidently didn't have their body cams on either.
    2. Doesn't show the Officers supposed fall.
Though Witnesses from ESPN. One says the Officer attached to his car. 2nd says officer tripped.
    3. Shows Gillis smashing the Window with force. aka Why his wrist would hurt.
    4. Shows the Officer running at the car. Not injured but pissed.
Pretty fast Donut eater that out runs an excellerating car.
    Especially with all those injuries.
5, Shows the officer thrusting and Jerking in the Window and at Scottie. Shows who was Aggressive. Maybe he neeeds a felony.
Your lucky Scottie. When cops in louisville lose their temper. People get shot.
I bet shining that flashlight in people's faces and screaming at them. Really makes them understand who you are. No identification on your clothes.
Banging on his window. I bet Scottie said. Thank God I'm safe now.
Pulling Scottie out of the car. Jamming him into the vehicle. Scottie makes money with his body. Let alone destroyed his chances for the PGA Championship. Something he trained for all year. Hes only 27 once.
    6. Shows Brake lights as the Officer catches the Car. All happened very fast. A second at Most?
    Verses I was Dragged lie.
    7. Shows slow driving. Verses he Excelerated and tried to run me over. Obvious lie. Intent etc etc.
    My Opinion.
    Bryan Gillis needs investigated,
    His background and Business,
He testifies to litigate settlements for people.
He knows how to manufacture a Crime,
Maybe Vegas money trying to fix a tournament.
    Or a Civil case shakedown.
    This officer is not right.
Louisville Police department is the Poster child for corruption.
7 FBI investigations. Sextortion. Sex favors. Drug money etc etc All reported on.
Police were there for one reason.
Get the pros in. Keep the fans off them.
Not molest the #1 Golfer for a Payday.
Scottie should never have been Arrested.
This should have never made it this far.
Prosecutor. What are you thinking? Notoriety? Ambitious?

In Louisville defense, this is the bunch that the DOJ stepped in and took over who they hire! What you get is unprofessional, unqualified people. Just Step up and fire the one cop and drop charges. How is it just an issue of one cop if the Louisville Metro PD felt confident in filing and releasing a report that states, "subject refused to comply and accelerated forward, dragging Detective Gillis to the ground. Detective Gillis suffered pain, swelling, and abrasions to his left wrist and knee ... Detective Gillis' uniform pants, valued at approximately $80 were damaged beyond repair." ??? Also worth noting: this is the same police department whose officers falsified info for a search warrant and covered up the existence of additional body cam footage after they shot and killed Breonna Taylor in 2020, after which the DOJ found "The Louisville Metro Police Department engaged in systemic civil rights abuses and excessive-force misconduct in the years leading up to the 2020 police killing of Breonna Taylor."

      @restoreamerica1558 27 дней назад

@@AustinTolin because they needed to justify his overreactions, plain and simple. The report is also filled out by the arresting officer, not the whole department. I’m not saying the whole department is a problem, but I know and have seen this Department in action and they have several in it that act like bullies and are what I would call very unprofessional. Their would be no logical reason to not allow the marked cars with golfers threw to begin with, so it makes sense that someone upstream told him to pass, but then this off duty cop felt he was disrespecting or whatever and wasn’t in sync with other. You see 2 things clearly in the short second video. He was not speeding off when he removed Scottie from the car and he was not being dragged or abused in anyway. This was a stupid move by one stupid cop and then he tried to justify it by exaggerating what happened. The fact they charge him with a felony for a traffic violation is a joke and it’s clear from the same video that he is completely cooperating, not showing any aggression or disrespect! So it’s called common sense!

You’re an absolute fucking moron. Cameras have shown that cops are right 99.9% of the time in an absolutely impossible job. God, I wish SO MUCH that the cops would just walk off the job and quit. Then there’d be no one to protect you from people like me when you’re on here running your cockholster. Absolutely 100% guarantee you’re black with a criminal record.

The best camera angle is in the last dash camera here, where it will clearly see the accused Scotty a few meters before turning to the golf club, this is crucial to see the truth of the accusation that official Gillis dragged Scotty's car and end up into the hospital resulted by car attacked, but this video has been censored by the police so that his false accusations are not seen because they are afraid to be sued, I am curious whether Gillis's body camera and other officials are also censored like this, who knows.

I also see no officer being dragged, but I do see an officer running up to the car and STRIKING it. According to the chief at her press conference, the officer was acting in accordance with Louisville Police Dept. Policy. Some policy. The officer split his pants all by himself.

Another police officer with an overreaction to the situation. PTSD, anxiety (quick to get angry) symptoms. Its hard being a police officer and not get anxiety issues with the job. Scheffler will most likely and should get this dismissed due to insuffiscient evidence seen in the videos.
