New 2024 Ram Rampage Laramie Mid-size Pickup Truck

the Rampage arrives to offer high doses of the brand's fundamental pillars - strength, capacity, luxury and technology -, always present in North American Ram pickup trucks, within a package the perfect size for the conditions in Brazil and throughout South America. The Rampage makes its world debut in Brazil carrying many primacies.
Regarding the main external dimensions, the Rampage is 5,028 mm long, 1,886 mm wide, 1,780 mm high, 2,994 mm wheelbase and 264 mm free space between the axles.
The work of the Stellantis Design Center in South America, the imposing and impactful lines of the Rampage also had the collaboration of North American designers. Because all the striking features of the designs of the desired Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 had to be visible in this first Ram designed outside the matrix.
The bodywork is all new and special attention was paid to the proportions of all volumes, so that the bodywork is “muscular” from any angle you view it. Stellantis designers also worked so that each version of Rampage could showcase a specific identity.
Therefore, on the Rebel, the off-road look dominates, with the extensive use of external parts with black and graphite finishes. In the same way as the “big sister” Ram 1500 Rebel, the wheels and grille, in trapezoidal shape, have an exclusive design. In the Rampage Laramie, chrome and silver finishes predominate in parts such as the front grille, window frames, mirror caps, door handles, logos, wheels and rear bumper, bringing a more traditional style, as in the Ram 2500 and 3500.
In the sportier version, the R/T, the entire tradition of the famous acronym (“Road/Track”, Road/Track) is displayed with a mix of components in body color and glossy black. Also noteworthy are the large stripes on the hood and the version emblem on the rear fenders and wheel faces, also exclusive to this version. The black printed roof completes the sports package.
At the back, the lanterns feature graphics that, when illuminated, resemble the United States flag, with red stripes and the reverse light forming the rectangle of stars. Both light assemblies still have a welcome movement when starting the pickup.
The Rampage is set to be the most powerful pickup truck manufactured in South America. This is due to the modern Hurricane 4 engine, applied for the first time to a vehicle produced in the region. It can equip all three versions, with the R/T being the only engine. There are 272 hp of power and 400 Nm (40.8 kgfm) of torque generated by the 2-liter four-cylinder in-line gasoline engine, the same one that powers the Jeep Wrangler. State-of-the-art, it is entirely made of aluminum and features direct injection and double variable valve timing.
The Rampage's other engine is the well-known 2-liter Multijet Turbo Diesel, which delivers 170 hp of power and 380 Nm (38.8 kgfm) of torque. An unbeatable combination of economy and performance, capable of going from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.9 seconds and reaching up to 186 km/h. The Multijet is available in Rebel and Laramie configurations.
The Rampage's interior was carefully designed to bring luxury and well-being to its occupants. The benches were inspired by premium furniture, creating a living room armchair feel. Everything with a very high level of finishing, as seen in the choice of noble materials such as perforated leather and suede (this, exclusive to the R/T version, which also has red stitching to further enhance the sporty look).
