I am always knitting multiple projects-baby hats and blankets for Babies in Need; winter hats for the homeless; and prayer shawls for my church. Obviously I am not a monogamous knitter! But I do sometimes knit for family and personal projects-my current favorite personal project is Kaffe Fassett’s Garter Stripe Shawl that is so large I am sure I will use it as a throw. I love multi-colored projects and am very fond of Rowan yarns. It is that project that caused me to view your weaving in ends video multiple times! I am a Twisted customer but I don’t believe I ever got to meet you in the brick and mortar store, but if you taught beginning knitting classes to children, you might have met my grandchildren who I purchased classes for, but sadly they did not stick with it. I am enjoying your trip vicariously! Have fun and stay safe!
I love all those projects you listed, Shari! I'm not a monogamous knitter either 😉 The more, the merrier! I did teach children's Learn to Knit classes at Twisted. Don't be discouraged if they're not currently knitting, it's a skill they'll have forever, and they can come back to it. And they probably will 💕
Thank you very much, Cheri! I had to watch the video several times (slow learner!) but I really like this method for weaving in the ends.
Not a slow learner at all, Shari; it's a tricky technique. But worth the effort! Remember, practice makes progress 😉 What are you knitting these days?
