After 3 videos filled with talks and talks but no drilling, this one really shows the tool in action!

They really are nice pieces. I like it when somebody really thinks things out and then doesn't get fancy just to look fancy.

These are excellent guides and are available in the UK from Complete Tool on eBay.

Have you noticed any wear or more wobble as time went on?

The clamp is from Bessey and the tap handle is Gearwrench. Both companies make VERY good stuff!

Do these come in small whitworth sizes rather than weird pitch guage, e.g.3/16w 5/32 w ?

duh why buy the tap guides when you can just use the drill guides for tapping? They same size holes are on both.

I find the tap guides do not hug the tap close enough so there is still too much wobble and error. The guide itself is very well made, just doesn't work as well as id hoped.

Made to fit all sizes of the ANSI ground thread tap tolerances. If the tap manufacture makes taps on the small end of the tolerance it may wobble some but still taps straight without error.

Every now and then I come acrossx a tool that makes so much sense that I wonder why it hadn;lt been done before. These guides are one of those tools.

I like the drill guide side of it, really handy for hand drilling timber but I wouldnt want my expensive taps rubbing on the inside of the hardened guide, a good way to dull your taps. At least with drills they are cheap and just need to be sharpened on the end, taps are a different story.......I dont have any problems tapping straight anyway.

Seriously dude, do you know how awesome you are for these reviews, This is freaking great, wow! I am soooo ordering this. Thanks! I know you have had this one up for a while but I seemed to just miss it, I so wish I had seen this sooner to. Though I could have used these a long while ago, I REALLY could have used these starting about 3 month ago. MAN!

A great product! I also like your clamp and the tap rachet. Please let us know the manufacturers of those, too.
    Always enjoy your videos!!
