you could just torpedo there shields and use a hatch breaker / collector limpets, eliminate all the asking and just take it like a pirate. you don't have to kill them just drop there shield and take the loot. also when i see manual scooping of loot it makes me sad.

When you pick me i have no gold, but i can give you a lot of void opals. These are even better than gold
