Been searching ever since, because their music playing quality was so good. Thanks for the review.. I still have and use my gen 1 ear pods pro, I’m waiting for them to give up the ghost before I upgrade. However I did get the Bose 2 ear buds.. I I use them for working around the house.. keep up the good work.
So far the best comparison video on these two. Thanks for the detailed test and covering that many other reviewers did not cover. Unfortunately no dates announced for Bose QC2 yet in India.
They're really good. 19900 on amazon. I have the airpods pro 2, the jabra elite 10, pixel buds pro and bose qc2. The no is canceling is unbeatable in the bose and transparency mode almost as good as the airpods - very little occlusion. Great colour choices as well. I got the midnight blue ones.
Noise Cancelation only works on the Airpods Pro 2 if the Music is playing in my Sony WF-1000XM4 I don't hear anything at all times unless I change from Noise Cancelation to Ambient Sound. For better sound Quality I use my Bang & Olufsen EQ even though I heard the new Bang & Olufsen with the Stem sound Amazing as well.
Same love my qc 2 earbuds, but really need single earbud use. They said an update will come later this year to allow the left earbud to be used independently of the right earbud.
@@gee4173 For the left correct? so far I have it up to date and it does not allow that unless my right earbud is active in the case without being closed upon
I have it. So left does work by itself if you do it certain way. Put right on in case, close it and open case and connect it in bluetooth, it will connect, close the case while listening. However, its not permanent yet as i find it disconnect as sounds end(maybe just me so try few different ways). Bose need to push firmware fast. For its price, it is just too inferior compared to others except in sound area. I also have b&o ex earbuds and they are awesome.
These are an improvement over the 1st gen buds. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxK5mc3yw4xA7Mf2j6k6n1Uqv_KUgrKdeM Pros: The fit is fantastic. This is the biggest plus. They stay in my ears when running and become unnoticeable. They are tight but comfortable. The sound quality is about the same as the 1st gen buds. They pair more easily with my LG G8 ThinQ and immediately reconnect when removed from the case. The sound balance is excellent, good but not overpowering base and clean mid tones and highs.Cons: The noise cancellation is good but perhaps a little less effective than the Bose ANC on the 1st gen buds. Passthrough mode as not as good as the 1st gen buds making it a little more difficult to hear conversations when in passthrough.

I'm deeply wedded to the Apple ecosystem (iPhone, iPad, MacBook Air, Mac Mini, and Apple TV). I have the original Bose QC's, as well as the APP's. Just picked up the new ones. I'm still testing them out, but... here are my thoughts (CliffNotes version). They're both great. It just depends on what matters more to you (and which fit better). I hated the prior APP's. Shitty ANC. Never could get a consistent seal (even when trying foam tips; I have the Sony's and hate the foam tips on them, as well). Douchey look. I used the QC's around the house (MacBook Air, mainly), but they're way too big to be seen in public with them (was like having giant beetles on your head). As for the new versions... I mean, Apple stepped up their game... but the Bose still sound better and their ANC is definitely more powerful. I'm a huge fan of Bose QC headphones. I own tons of Apple shit, so... I should go with the APP 2's... right? Well... maybe. Most of the APP 2 advantages don't matter to me, though. I don't care about wireless charging (I use my wired Bose QC 20's for a flight... or if I'm at the computer all day... and rarely spend more than a couple hours using earbuds, in general). There's enough battery power (with both brands) to last for days (with my use case, anyway). I also don't care about Spatial (it's interesting, but too gimmicky for me). I'm rarely on phone calls and... the QC 2's sound good. Siri assistance is available on both (though I hardly ever use Siri). I care most about ANC (I'm noise sensitive) and sound quality... and while the APP 2's are nice (and much improved), the QC 2's are better. The touch controls on the QC 2's are a lot smoother. You can also create custom presets, so... maybe you want SOME ANC... but you still want to hear your surroundings. Oh, and you've got the ability to customize the sound, overall (EQ, via the Bose Music app). The only thing that's causing me to pause (before returning one) is handoff. I joked about this in another thread, but imagine I'm on my MacBook or iPad and just had a bad burrito. I rush to the bathroom (iPhone in hand) and voila... it knows I've switched devices and I don't have to do a damn thing. Whereas, with Bose... it's manual. It's a killer feature. Yeah, the APP 2 case is smaller (I prefer it)... but the QC 2 case is small enough. I'll still probably opt for the QC 2's. ANC and sound quality are my #1 priority.
I just upgraded to APP 2 from gen 1, I have silicone tips which immensely helps it stay on my ear, however, it still slips when I'm sweaty and hitting the gym. I'm planning on returning it and getting the QC2. Sound is my Number 1 priority too, and I already have the APP gen 1 so I can still use them on a daily basis.
It’s a little buggy for me to wear AirPods Pro into my right ear cuz I got a surgery on my right on which caused my right ear lost a little tightness to hold tight the eartip of AirPods. Now Bose chose to join the tilted-eartip earbuds team having left behind its 1 generation shark fin design, I’m not sure if that could affect its anc performace. Btw you do have a nice workout-guy body. You look great!
Wow! Great comparison! Very thorough and comprehensive! Bose def seems better in noise cancellation! You don’t use the rubber ear gaskets for the air pods?
One more thing every reviewer misses is the software isolation modes that Apple provides, i mean if you do FaceTime or any kind of internet calling you could use voice isolation and its even available for og AirPods. For me thats a big deal. It’s amazing how apple provides you with such a great feature just with a software update! Great review btw!
I got both of them and I still can’t decide what is the best for me however, I tried the AirPods on a windows laptop for zoom meetings but they couldn’t hear me as my voice was breaking up a lot, not sure if this is a windows-system issue or zoom audio set up because when I switched to zoom in my iPhone AirPods worked perfectly. Another thing I noticed is that the sound is amazing in your Bose earbuds when you configure in you iPhone always Dolby Stereo and Hi-Ress lossless
Hi everyone, I had a question during an outdoor sports or cycling session, do the headphones handle wind noise well? Do the ANC microphones saturate or does the active noise reduction still work very well even in windy conditions?
I have the Airpod Pros Gen 1 and find them increadibly uncomfortable. They hurt my ears after an hour os so. The Samsung dont at all . I have gone back to my gen 1 Samsung ear buds .
Thanks for a great review. I’ve ordered Bose QC 2 which will be delivered on 29th this month. I own the first Bose QC, loved them and used almost every day then I managed to try QC2, wow to me they have improved significantly in every aspect and can’t wait to get them. In my country AirPods cost more than Bose, $20 extra and hard to get any discount. However I’ve managed to get Bose QC2 for roughly $170 thanks to official shop coupon and Black Friday like deal combined. Only few more days to go, can’t wait to own mine😊
Love my QC 2’s I don’t care if case does not have wireless charging personally think that is over rated with ear buds. But I would like if could use just 1 EB at a time. Great review
@@EverydayChris that’s what I figured, I love the sound of the Bose, owned a pair of the sports frees for 3 years, but the seamless switching with the airpods is just too nice.
Your iPhone 14 pro max has oled issue I can tell from the pink/red tint on screen probably a Samsung panel version due to them having lg and Samsung panels for the iPhones
I travel a lot for work and fly several times a week. I want the reliable call quality that AirPods offer, but I also want the awesome ANR from the Bose to cancel out the airplane noises… decisions decisions.
The noise cancellation on the AirPods Pro 2nd Gen is quite good. Other reviews have stated the Bose and Pros are better at noise cancellation in different ways, there is no one clearcut winner. For me, on an iPhone, the Pros are really the only option. All of the charging options, small case, battery life, and being at least good at every area you’d care about… there’s just no reason to go with any others. When people compare the sound quality of these top IEMs, what they’re talking about is also mostly just different tuning - not increased clarity. This time, Apple boosted the bass a bit more, but voices do seem a bit better on this newer version as well. People don’t like flat frequency response on a headphone or IEM, so it always comes down moreso to a specific curve they like. Apple needs to give us more options to EQ and they’d be close to perfect.
Hi, can the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II be used while running or working out in gym, without feeling their bulkiness? Please advice, my main use will be while working out in gym or running, so which should I go for? I don't want to feel weight on my ears. I have an iPhone though, don't use android. Please reply?
Hate how plasticy and difficult to get out of the case the new Bose still feel/are. Also do you feel like the singing voice is stronger in your right ear when listening? Maybe my ear canal is different in that ear lol. Going to try them running in an hour, don’t notice an improvement in noise cancellation from sitting here but will see on my run and update! Just want to improve on traffic sounds and beats fit pro just cutting it for loud traffic 🙏🏽
howd they do on the run? debating if getting them since I've had issues with bose falling out of my ear with original QC. Optimistic new design is better since I do prefer Bose.
it's not up in the air. not even close. the Bose are way better - sound, fit, and noise cancelling. and better for workouts. it's all about cost. if you can afford the bose, buy them.
Thank you Do you recommend me to purchase Bose qcii just for better noise cancellation? I do have AirPods Pro 2 and very satisfied in terms of noise cancellation. Does it worth to buy Bose qsii just for ANC? Is that so different? Thanks for reply
@@EverydayChris Oh my head!! You're awesome! I didn't realize that in the settings. I think maybe I'm going senile. This totally redeems these for me. I can't believe I missed it but you're my hero for setting me straight! I don't think I'm the only one who didn't realize you could do each side, though. I saw at least one other reviewer who thought it was only the left side. Anyway, thanks again!!
I love my Bose but they do feel like 'suction' to your ear and hurt after only about a half hour if that due to the pressure on the ears. That's why I switched. Otherwise they are great if they don't hurt you
Good review. 2 things. First, you can’t use a recording of a jack hammer. The volume of a recording is probably in range of acceptable augmented reality. A real jack hammer is 130 dB. I doubt your speakers were anywhere close. Second, I am an audio nerd and I feel the AirPods Pro 2 compare favorably with much more expensive IEM. No doubt the Bose are very good as well. I wish reviewers would not judge so much as describe. That’s because we all hear differently and value different sound profiles. Are they v-shaped? Technicals? So if not willing to give more data, they should be viewed as more likely equal. NR is also likely closer than you share. Both seem very good. I have gone for the AirPod Pro 2 for the very good phone calling, the tiny size allowing all day use, and the excellent call quality. I have the latest Sony’s and while they fit, they are kinda uncomfortable after a while. The AirPods seem completely transparent to me as a daily driver. I use very high end 64Audio IEM at home for music, AirPods for work and the gym. Finally, both buds will probably benefit from different silicone or foam tips. This should be done with both. I have seen a huge difference between different tips.

Yeah Apple and AirPods work so well. So many hidden features
Does airpod pro 2 cancels outside noise with no white noise? In India, its a big issue esp if one is a student.
Does volume control work on Android with AirPods pro 2?
Yes!
Bose QC II sound quality is great. I am using since couple of days.
Very good
But is the ANC better than in the Pro2?
Yes
Hi everyone, I had a question during an outdoor sports or cycling session, do the headphones handle wind noise well? Do the ANC microphones saturate or does the active noise reduction still work very well even in windy conditions?
Man is not a dad yet but got them dad moves 😂😂

Superb review 👍👍
Gain train big legs
One feature the Bose have is the ability to for them to feed your voice back to you when on a call. Without that it is easy to end up shouting.
Yeah! Love that.
never actually tried it :P
Whats sure what to use it for :D
Do you hear static hiss noise when in ANC mode for QC II?
None
I have the Airpod Pros Gen 1 and find them increadibly uncomfortable. They hurt my ears after an hour os so. The Samsung dont at all . I have gone back to my gen 1 Samsung ear buds .
Which will be good at preventing dj music or traffic sound?
Confused b/w bose earbud 2 and AirPod 2.
I say Bose
@@EverydayChris I heard there is always little white noise in Bose even in silent environment. Is that correct?
Thanks for a great review.
I’ve ordered Bose QC 2 which will be delivered on 29th this month. I own the first Bose QC, loved them and used almost every day then I managed to try QC2, wow to me they have improved significantly in every aspect and can’t wait to get them.
In my country AirPods cost more than Bose, $20 extra and hard to get any discount. However I’ve managed to get Bose QC2 for roughly $170 thanks to official shop coupon and Black Friday like deal combined.
Only few more days to go, can’t wait to own mine😊
airpod pro 2 just better
hello, which ones cancel noise best while in a room with outside dog barking? No music playing, just silence with no dog barking outside. thanks
Thats tough. But prob QC is better
@@EverydayChris thnx man. Went for the Bose QC II. Getting them next week 💪🏼
how does the connection speed of Bose compare to AirPods on iPhone
Same!
Love my QC 2’s I don’t care if case does not have wireless charging personally think that is over rated with ear buds. But I would like if could use just 1 EB at a time. Great review
Perhaps when you don't have wireless chargers in your house. I can't remember the last time I used a cable.
Unless they changed with the QC2, I use one EBon my Qc’s all the time when I listen to RUclips, or similar.
@@Sausbert no way you twerp!
@@Sausbert I just wish they were faster. I have the best out currently and it’s so much slower than a wire
@@I-do-not-read-replies Doesn’t bother me. They charge when I sleep.
Reminds you of the skull and headphones? Is that shade.
A little shade
@@EverydayChris 🙄😂
Thanks for the review and $20 off! Just ordered mine!
Woohoo
Can you wear the Bose one earbud at a time or do you have to have them both in at the same time?
One at a time no problem!
@@EverydayChris Thanks!
Does the Bose switch between apple product as well as the air pod 2’s?
No
@@EverydayChris that’s what I figured, I love the sound of the Bose, owned a pair of the sports frees for 3 years, but the seamless switching with the airpods is just too nice.
Yeah I love that
Sweet dance moves bro! 😂
What I do not really like in all earbuds is background hissing. I do not understand how people use them. It irritates me a lot tbh
Your iPhone 14 pro max has oled issue I can tell from the pink/red tint on screen probably a Samsung panel version due to them having lg and Samsung panels for the iPhones
It’s my polarizer on the lens!!
Good review
Interesting, so which one works better on the plane noise cancelation?
Hi, can the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II be used while running or working out in gym, without feeling their bulkiness? Please advice, my main use will be while working out in gym or running, so which should I go for? I don't want to feel weight on my ears. I have an iPhone though, don't use android. Please reply?
Yes! Didn’t you see my junp roping and running?
@@EverydayChris yes saw that but still felt like asking once more.
Great fucking job, mate. Nice review!
It's annoying to get out of the case sometimes lol. Running stayed in my ears fine
@@Comanche-E I wear a stretchy cloth headband over my ears /head when I run so can’t say how they’d do without that but I imagine pretty good!
it's not up in the air. not even close. the Bose are way better - sound, fit, and noise cancelling. and better for workouts. it's all about cost. if you can afford the bose, buy them.
true ❤
Thanks, I did.😃
I own them both. To say it’s not close is a bit silly.
@@jaseettridge4802 I agree. The Sennheiser Momentum 3 is on a different level though (sound wise.)
I agree. I have both earbuds including Sony XM4. They are both better than airpods pro 2
Which one would you say are louder?
Hmm both loud if you put eq on phone to max.
does the phone call quality test without actually testing the anc 🤦🏾♂
What's noise cancellation?? Obviously if you put loss buds on your ear thn it must be noise!!
Thank you
Do you recommend me to purchase Bose qcii just for better noise cancellation?
I do have AirPods Pro 2 and very satisfied in terms of noise cancellation.
Does it worth to buy Bose qsii just for ANC?
Is that so different?
Thanks for reply
Yes it’s better
@@EverydayChris Thank you so much👍👍
Does the fact that you have to choose between the digital assistant (Siri, etc.) and the ability to change noise canceling mode not bother anyone?
You can change it up on the right and left side
@@EverydayChris Oh my head!! You're awesome! I didn't realize that in the settings. I think maybe I'm going senile. This totally redeems these for me. I can't believe I missed it but you're my hero for setting me straight! I don't think I'm the only one who didn't realize you could do each side, though. I saw at least one other reviewer who thought it was only the left side. Anyway, thanks again!!
Which has better High Loud Volume ?
I control it through the app but I’m gonna say AirPods
Pretty cool the bose are $219 until end of year for 1st responders😮
Slick deal
Thanks
what is best color white or black
I’m not racist I love both equally
Finally someone who DOES exercise.
What about mic noise cancelling?
Hmm. about the same
is it true that u can not use a Bose single ear bud at a time while the other is charging in the closed case ???
You can
Which have better bass Bose QuietComfort Earbuds I or Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II ?
Earbuds 2 and 1 are similar
I love my Bose but they do feel like 'suction' to your ear and hurt after only about a half hour if that due to the pressure on the ears. That's why I switched. Otherwise they are great if they don't hurt you
Same hurts my ears
Great points! I agree the airpods pro 2 are way more comfortable in the long run
Let’s not forget that BOSE are top Professional Stage Speakers producers , they are specialized in Sound.
Actually a channel that is not fanboying for Apple!
Is this a UNICORN?!
Yah bruh I mean sound quality is good but Bose is better. Don’t get the other reviews
