The baritone's facial expressions are probably the best in barbershop!
This makes their performance in 2013 at the International seem like a rehearsal... OH MY GOD this is incredible :D
No joke! That last chord was stellar.
They sang it a half step higher here, though.
@@guibox3 I honestly think the tag was better with the half step higher
okay as amazing as Brett's low C is, the real story for me is tenor Rob singing the low 5th-a G! I don't think I've ever heard a non-bass sing that low in a song, let alone a tenor.
pman5595 at what part? Can you link me to the time?
The very last note!
I may have been born as a baritone! #baritoneenvy
One day I'll be in Barbershop, I hope to be like him. A born Baritone who sings Tenor, of course I love my Baritone voice, but I love the sounds a tenor can make especially when they utilize their falsetto so greatly. You should be proud of your voice Rob, I hope one day I can sound as good as you.

One thing is singing a 'Deep C' .. An entirely different thing is Brett singing a deep C with so much bass in it, and such a thick dark timbre!
Can say with confidence that this is my favorite low C of any Barbershop performance. Not close either, lol
The lead and bass have such extreme talent it’s obvious
Absolutely crazy. The phrasing and motions are so well done and they are all so together. Not to mention of course the bass and lead. But the tenor, while quiet, is almost perfect for this quartet. Very traditional sounding tenor. Just reliable and always there to finish off a chord. Not to also mention the bari has an amazing sense of chord make up and where he stands in a phrase. Insane tag and that lead post is a lot harder than people think. Being that note accurate that quietly is a hard task and he pulled it off! Love it
That bass, made me euphoric!!! SO DAMN OUTSTANDING!!!! BRAVISSIMI!!!
The Beard Guy is SO SO CUTE :)
No other group could sing this song as well as them
Except for a little group
Called the Suntones😎
Harlin Wilson... one of the best berrys ever 😊
or tim waurick, he has release his albums on music services yesterday and you can get them on apple music, spotify and a few other places i think and all of them are great, however these arent tags from his channel
love this song, love this group. they are simply incredible
Last chord made me 😭
Alan Gordon's beard gives him a very 'Jeff Bridges' look. I like it.
Tbh I really don't think anyone can top Brett's low end power in the Barbershop space. Only one I can think of is the Bass from Signature quartet. But please, if there are anyone's I missed let me know I wanna watch the performances and hear the notes 🙏
It gives me goosebumps every time. Such a beautifully sung song all around.
Knocked it out of the park.
I can almost think that low.
Where can I find, or how may I could learn, the multitracks of this tremendous wonderful cover of the song?
On their 2013 version, they were a half step lower. I wonder why they raised it? Incredible bass.
Can someone share the music sheet for this arrangement?
Can someone tell me how the bass descends?

Can anyone tell me what notes they are each hitting the last second?
From left to the Right: C2, G2, E3, C4, incredible harmony
@@jendrik7595 Not quite my dude, from L to R, it's C2 E3 C4 G2
@@samwilliams455 ye you´re right :D
Half man. Half bullfrog
This is a cool arrangement and the last 30 seconds are fantastic, but I can't like it as much as the Suntones version. That one is just a gem. Anybody with me?
yes
Both arrangements are very different - it’s kind of hard for me to compare them, honestly! I do love Harlan Wilson’s rich, smooth voice though.
Revival did the Suntones version also.
With Royce Ferguson singing the solo.
Absolutely. The Suntones version will always have a very special place in my heart
I think you are just in love with the lead who really is smooth except perhaps in the extreme upper range. The arrangement and other three parts however are inferior in comparison.
Beautiful arrangement but the volumes need adjustment. The bass is overpowering the lead, and that doesn't work.
Decent performance. They were trying too hard.
pfft what does that even mean
