I personally would’ve started with PIRATE KING (debut), HALA HALA, WIN, WONDERLAND, THE REAL, ILLUSION, INCEPTION, GUERRILLA, HALAZIA or CRAZY FORM etc.; I mean DEJA VU is a great song but in opinion I wouldn’t say it’s a good introduction to them.
You're right about Halateez! They are the good guys and they are leading a revolution in world Z. Also that little drone thing flying in the tunnels that you didn't understand was also something related to the lore. The chromer (the hourglass) breaking was also a vital point in the story cause they kinda need it. (I got really into the lore. there's a master document with everything about ateez's lore that i read through)
