Well it was a pretty big hit when it came out so I wouldn't say it was underrated then. Now? It's not talked about as much so I'd say now it would be only for that.
I think of this movie when im walking and listening to #alexjones or #timpool. Theres almost always shady aircraft overhead within 7 mins. And then the neighbors never talk to me again...sucks. #joerogan #timdillon #ufc
When you saw the movie, John Voight's character's birthday was 9/11, and all of this is about NSA. Before 9/11, no one really heard about the NSA. Weird and scary.
One of my top 5 movies! I have it on VHS, HD, blue ray. Jerry Bruckheimer is one of my most FAVORITE producers. His style keeps you on the edge of your seat. Gone in 60 seconds is another great film
4:10 The majority of people have no idea this is true, but we learned in basic sound engineering class that every loudspeaker is a (dynamic) microphone, and vice versa ... every microphone is a loudspeaker. They're just specialized versions of the same thing -- a sound transducer -- and transduction works either way, electricity to sound, or sound to electricity, depending on where the input comes from. you can take a typical bookshelf speaker with a 1/4" jack, stick that into your microphone input of your device, turn on the voice recorder and record yourself through the speaker! Likewise, you can take any dynamic microphone with an compatible sized jack, plug it into your speaker output, and listen to sound through your microphone.
I wish it could become a series but the boy who played his son in the filme can lead the series. Either TNT,USA,FX or Starz can be one of the networks can pick up the series. Since those networks have played the movie so many times before. As long as Will Smith,Jerry Bruckheimer, and ABC Studios aka Touchstone Television will behind the series.
It's amazing how such phenomenal films like Enemy of The State, Shoot To Kill, Metro, Deja Vu, Man on Fire, Out of Time,The Negotiator, Out of Sight, Collateral, Kiss The Girls, Along Came a Spider and many more etc. are hardly talked about as much but are so much better than some of the "smash hits" we get then or now. Simply sad.
It was such an inspirational and influential movie. The main cast got a lot of praise here, but I in my eyes, the overall casting was really great. All the CIA goons in this movie really looks like nasty, ruthless henchmen. It's so uncanny yet still entertaining and stayed relevant even after all the years.
This is a great flick!! Gene Hackman's a wonderful actor whose talent is wasted in a role that's beneath him. Otherwise, the casting and performances are first rate. Maybe Hackman's presence encouraged all the other actors to step up their game --which they certainly did!
So, I felt I was being watched from a certain area on the tv room wall. I went and stuck a yellow post-it note over the area. Then I heard a voice say: "How does she know where the cameras are?" :)
Here you don't need to read the configuration of your opponent... Because you have got a free access ...of the log... When you are using the state equipment is more easy to monitor anyone...
When I first saw this film.... I had a feeling the tech was available and real! So what spy tech is available now 24 years later....with HD and higher camera resolution.... Dam.
If their operations don't embrace technology they lose the game. Fact. This film was 1998...Back in 1998, however, things were very different. ... In fact in 1998, only 9% of households had access to the internet, a shocking statistic compared to the 90% of households in 2017. 2020...more online during Covid. Then the way they got in shows sophisticated planners were doing this one...very sophisticated. They used the upgrades to hide lines of extra code they wrote and put in the middle...MiM attack...some have to admire their skill at this one. Security people scrambling to prevent a reoccurance...if possible. Stay tuned...art and life, interetwined once more in a tangled web of 5G networks in China..."Black Mirror" already there in the coding of surveillance they do now. What a world, huh?
It's unbelievable how underrated this movie is.
Well it was a pretty big hit when it came out so I wouldn't say it was underrated then. Now? It's not talked about as much so I'd say now it would be only for that.
As a film its somewhat par and definitely shows its age. But in terms of content, it was way ahead of its time.
@@JS-ue2si How does it show its age?
Right! Watching it now... For the 12th time this month...
I think of this movie when im walking and listening to #alexjones or #timpool. Theres almost always shady aircraft overhead within 7 mins. And then the neighbors never talk to me again...sucks. #joerogan #timdillon #ufc
One of the greatest movies ever made. RIP Tony Scott.

They are using nano tech injected by vax, chemtrails and 5G these days.
The tech shown here is old school.
Seriously one of wills best movies....top 5 ....
Name the others
@@lustforlife2084 ali, bad boys, Independence Day, pursuit of happiness, etc there's others but I really liked enemy of the state the most.
This movie was before Apple became big, no Facebook, no RUclips, and Amazon was still in it's infancy. 😉
Then how come Forrest Gump made a big deal about the main character investing in Apple?
When you saw the movie, John Voight's character's birthday was 9/11, and all of this is about NSA. Before 9/11, no one really heard about the NSA. Weird and scary.
Yeah man I’m surprised they even let this movie be made considering how they did Snowden.
Exactly !!
The 90s were crazy in the US. A lot of people just don't remember it.
Saw it back in 1998 vhs he's done was weird...the sreenwriter knew some thing was gonna happen
It was a 911 easter egg. I watched it the other day and had to pause and rewind it a few times. I was like WTH!
One of my top 5 movies! I have it on VHS, HD, blue ray. Jerry Bruckheimer is one of my most FAVORITE producers.
His style keeps you on the edge of your seat.
Gone in 60 seconds is another great film

This movie is why Trump's staff claimed microwaves were spying on them.
I always watch this movie on Mondays. A totally underrated movie.
Great flick! I've seen it a dozen times and it still puts me on the edge of my seat. Of course, it helps to have short-term memory loss! 😆

@larrymarshall8900 Don't know about a series but a sequel would've gotten my attention, big time.
How do we know the movie wasn’t intended for us to accept this survelliance state
My all time favourite

Remember seeing this in movie at the theaters as a kid had no idea the Patriot act would be established next.
The "Jar " was actually a Faraday Cage or Faraday shield.
When I told my friends about Echelon in the early 90's they all thought I was crazy......
I watched this at least 5 times

It’s quite interesting how things in this film have turned into a reality. Quite scary honestly.
Probably more accurate to say the reality this film portrays has become exposed (thanks Edward Snowden).
It's called predictive programming. It's all very Masonic.
They underestimated the extent of the spying in this film.
RIP 🙏 Jason Robards

One of the best movies of the 1990s, were there any better, or came close.

Love Gene Hackman as an actor. I like his persona too. Sexy man.

I've only seen this movie once because Will Smith is in it. He is young in this.
Remember back in 2017 when senator Schumer told Trump the the intelligence would get he was talking about The NSA
High quality movie.

I was enjoying this synopsis of one of my favorite movies until I saw @26:00 that Controlled Demolition was involved with the production :(
@Suffer No Fools It's not a 9/11 reference. This movie pre-dates 9/11
