    Just watched this april 2023 but lots of pertinent information on where to look at pike in relationship to fly.

    Also the rod length they give here is bs also. You don't need large rods to throw large flys, you just need to weight the fly relative to your fly line. My musky stick is a 7'11" 9wt and I regularly throw 13" yak hair slammers 90 feet.

    You oval on a follow you better do it a lot deeper than that. You shallow oval that fish is going to sight you and your done. Plunge the rod deep and do your ovals, keep their attention on the fly.
