    Every time I’m on Kayak, I always see those cheap 40+ hour flights and I think “hmm, I wonder how those are”
    Now I know. Haha.

    Thanks for the video! How did you go about checking in? Did you check in through vayama or through China eastern? I bought some tickets but the ticket number they gave me is not valid on China eastern. Thank you

      @MultiStreetsSmartsTraveling  5 лет назад

      yeah I used to have that same problem. I would always give them my ticket number. If you scroll down the email that you got from vayama you'll see an Airline Reference number. That's the number you will give to the agent when you call. Or you can just print out the whole email and presented to them at the desk and you'll be all good.

    Nice and informative bro. So concerning the one-day visa, there is nothing you have to do beforehand? It's all done in the airport?

    I so interested to hear about this airline as everything online is negative but the prices are EVERYTHING!

      China eastern wasnt that bad, the staff are bad at speaking English and the economy seats were a bit small but yeah the price was totally worth it and you gotta go through all this stuff once you get to China, I'll do a better review about it later.

      Most international airports not in the U.S tend to have day rooms available. Very small rooms maybe 4 x 10 that you can use and sleep in for 10 hours at a time, usually at a very fair price 30-50 USD sometimes less.

    U didn't bring toilet paper!! Always take toilet paper when u travel did they have wifi is there any banks that are the same as banks in the USA is there currency exchange at the airport and is there a difference in the uber app

    • @MultiStreetsSmartsTraveling
      @MultiStreetsSmartsTraveling  5 лет назад

      I didn't see any banks at the airport but they did have currency exchanges, but they charge a high fee to change the US dollars. I forgot how much I think she said $10. So it's best to exchange large bills. Yes, the airport had WiFi.

    So u went from Chicago to San Francisco first?

    • @MultiStreetsSmartsTraveling
      @MultiStreetsSmartsTraveling  5 лет назад

      Yeah, well, that trip was very long within itself. I went from chicago to Indianpolis on megabus then fly from there on the cheapest flight to the west coast, which was San Diego and then took a bus to San Francisco. I could have gotten a ticket for $263 from Chicago but I wanted to go the "long" route.

      @@MultiStreetsSmartsTraveling Curiously, why did you want to go the long route from Chi to Indy? -- And BTW, I just love your channel dude!! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

    I took China Eastern airlines from Quindao to San Francisco coming from South Korea, and I agree with you, bland food, and their outlets weren’t strong enough to power my Ipad🙄. Air Hong Kong definitely better. And now to talk about Quindao airport. I felt like it was too Militarized, why do they have soldiers at every entrance checking people entering the airport, from outside? how scary. Did you notice that?And if you don’t have Chinese money, you’re screwed, cause they don’t take credit or debit cards, at that airport, only Union Pay, the Chinese credit card. Total contrast from the Hong Kong airport which I loved.
    Also Quindao Airport’s wi-fi is TERRIBLE, cant surf the internet AT ALL but my layover was only a few hours thank goodness. Yes, I saw their Chinese toilet, but they had the traditional ones too, you would have found them if you would’ve kept looking, or you should have asked someone, cause I’m too tall to be squatting down over a hole😂Also got quite a few stares from the guys, I guess they’ve never seen a black woman before🙄 Didn’t get that at the Hong Kong airport. Yes, I too had to walk down some stairs and take a shuttle to the plane, very strange, but at least it was a new experience.

    • @MultiStreetsSmartsTraveling
      @MultiStreetsSmartsTraveling  5 лет назад +1

      I didnt notice the military people at the entrances, but there were a nice handful of police officers - one of them who just laid on the floor around 3am for whatever reason. yeah, they dont take US money and the exchange rate is pretty high. The internet at Kunming is better than in Qingdao. And the looks, man, I was walking through Kunming and two Chinese kids was playing then all of a sudden they STOPPED and looked at me. It was surreal. Also some teenage girls said hi to me and laughed. I'm gonna do a video about it later. And when you had to take the shuttle to the plane, did all the people RUSH on almost trampling each other?

    • @ria1313
      @ria1313 5 лет назад +1

      TravelingStreetSmarts Hmmmm, maybe the people at the airport entrances were police officers. They just don’t look like the officers in the US so I freaked out😂I didn’t notice a lot of chaos taking the shuttle to the plane. I guess I lucked out and got a civilized group😁. You got a good deal on airfare to Thailand, I saw the $200 price sometime around Christmas, I should of got my ticket then, but now prices have gone up, around $400 if I fly the middle of Feb, which is what I wanted to do. I can fly to Costa Rica around that time for less than $200 one way, so I’ll probably do that and check out Thailand in March when the prices come down.
