I'd absolutory love to see further builds with handmade shipwrecks I think its really unique and cool! maybe next time you could do a paludarium where the boat is half out of the water like it was wrecked on some rocks? love the content keep up the amazing work Serpa!
This is exactly what I wanted to ask :) I found this channel looking for inspiration for my shrimp tank. You are doing amazing stuff and incredible things! I love it. Though I am wondering whether such tank will look so incredible in two years. I do have 120 liters to adopt. I know it is lots for shrimps. But I want to be it more a decoration that breeding tank.
@@michaobara7534 never had a boat in one of my tanks but since it's basically just wood, I imagine the wood on the boat will darken a lot and grow algae. Same for the strings. The sails I have no experience on since, like I said, never had a boat in an aquarium but he said the fabric doesn't break down so I suppose they will just get dirty--similar to white sand. But in my opinion all that will make this tank even better since a sunken ship will start to look weathered eventually so it adds to realism. For the substrate; white sand is hard to keep clean and since there are accent stones sprinkled around you can't just vacuum it and clean it that way. So it will eventually look a bit dirty but that's just the general problem of using white sand. You could switch to natural coloured sand where the "dirtying" won't be noticeably. Or you're just aware of the dirt and accept that the tank won't look as prestige in a few months or even years. I personally like the more "lived in" look in a tank but to each their own.
Honestly, I usually hate artificial decor, but damn you made it look good in a tank. I’d love to see more, now I’m considering making some of my shrimp into pirates..

I'm so glade you added bladder snails. I've been trying to figure out what those snails were ever since I grabbed a water hyacinth from a lake and they hitched a ride along with it. Added some of those snails to my mom's lucky bamboo that was getting a lot of slime build up in its water and they cleaned it out and are still in there to this day.
The modelling hobby has many items for a more realistic boat. Port holes. A wheel, stuff like that. Of course it would be a bit of research to find out if the materials are safe for the animals. Always enjoy these builds.
This is great! I'd love to one where the ship is broken and plants growing through it, you're so creative I'm sure it's possible. Looking forward to see how this ship ages.
I have a shipwreck in my tank. It took FOREVER to find one that was on the smaller side, that actually didn’t look like it came from toontown, with the right dimensions. This is a really cool idea! The sails are fantastic.
Good lord this is incredible. Tanner continues to outdo himself. I never thought I'd say this about an aquascape, but I actually liked it better before it was planted! The hardscape was so brilliantly arranged! I could have been looking right at a real wreck.
I am in love with this little boat!!! I think crafting it yourself makes for such a charming display. I’m sure the animals in there will learn to love it too.

Boy, the ship in the aquarium looks great, especially with shrimp! Since they’re bottom dwellers, they really add to the illusion that the ship is at the bottom of the sea.

It is the only water conditioner that I ues, I also use their turbo start as well, when I have to large water changes, or if a tank is starting to crash or to jump start a project. I agree, PLEASE do some more self made decorations! I have some ideas for my snail paludarium where I have been constructing a rope bridge, and I have some really fun ideas for an underwater scape for my aquatic pets, but I am nervous about what materials to use, and how to achieve certain looks without ruining what I already put together (Like your dilemma with roughing up your boat) so I would love to see some more of these kinda of builds so I can see how you handle some issues, and what you use for what to hopefully get past my creativity block! Keep doing your amazing work, I love it!
I love this guys enthusiasm in his videos. I just discovered of this channel from my recommended videos tab where I watched him make a waterfall in a Jar. Ever since that video I've just been watching more as I find it satisfying seeing him make all of these environmental enclosures. I do also see that he is very well knowledgeable with is choice in plants as he memorizes each of the plants names and how they fit in with each enclosure he creates. Overall I have to say this channel is a 10/10 and is full of positivity. I hope everyone who watches videos like this gets some sort of inspiration from it which makes their creativity thrive in whatever project they may have in the future.

I think having the bottom of the sails pinned like that makes it look like they've been reefed, which makes it look like it was sailing through a storm. What a great detail

Love this, looks great. As you said very different to your normal scape but always good to try new things. As the boat weathers a bit it will look even better. 😊
i know the ship is the main feature but the transition you pulled off from rock to sand looks so good! The overall composition and the textures you got going are also very well done, the bright sand matching the sails, the sort of mirroring of bigger to smaller leaves and rocks, and the tones of rock, wood and plants all come together so well!
Nice ghost ship there cheers and yes i like bladder snails as well, they keep my tank super clean, cause i noticed once there are some dirty spots on leafs or glass wall my snails regardless what types will immediately do its job super fast so i am going towards snails as well cheers

I really like it!!! I think the ONLY thing I would have done differently, is find one of those 'transparent' ocean backgrounds, to make it look like it was down in the depths of the ocean, but it's a really cool aquascape!

When i saw the video at firt i was not conviced by the boat. And by the end of it totaly was you did an absolutly amazing job as always!
