      This is exactly what I wanted to ask :) I found this channel looking for inspiration for my shrimp tank. You are doing amazing stuff and incredible things! I love it. Though I am wondering whether such tank will look so incredible in two years. I do have 120 liters to adopt. I know it is lots for shrimps. But I want to be it more a decoration that breeding tank.

    • @xroyalbloodx
      @xroyalbloodx 3 года назад +8

      @@michaobara7534 never had a boat in one of my tanks but since it's basically just wood, I imagine the wood on the boat will darken a lot and grow algae. Same for the strings. The sails I have no experience on since, like I said, never had a boat in an aquarium but he said the fabric doesn't break down so I suppose they will just get dirty--similar to white sand. But in my opinion all that will make this tank even better since a sunken ship will start to look weathered eventually so it adds to realism. For the substrate; white sand is hard to keep clean and since there are accent stones sprinkled around you can't just vacuum it and clean it that way. So it will eventually look a bit dirty but that's just the general problem of using white sand. You could switch to natural coloured sand where the "dirtying" won't be noticeably. Or you're just aware of the dirt and accept that the tank won't look as prestige in a few months or even years. I personally like the more "lived in" look in a tank but to each their own.

    This is a really great scape!! I wasn’t sure how it would look at the beginning, but it was stunning by the end (of course - how could I have doubted you!). So cool! 🥰

    Love this, looks great.
    As you said very different to your normal scape but always good to try new things. As the boat weathers a bit it will look even better. 😊

    i know the ship is the main feature but the transition you pulled off from rock to sand looks so good! The overall composition and the textures you got going are also very well done, the bright sand matching the sails, the sort of mirroring of bigger to smaller leaves and rocks, and the tones of rock, wood and plants all come together so well!

    Your video just gave me an idea for a shallow tank. What am I saying, all your videos give me ideas. Love it.

    I really like it!!! I think the ONLY thing I would have done differently, is find one of those 'transparent' ocean backgrounds, to make it look like it was down in the depths of the ocean, but it's a really cool aquascape!
