To me this has a very 90s Britpop sound. It reminds me an awful lot of Sleeper. I wonder if the Bloms have spent much time listening to the album Smart. (Everyone should, by the way - once you've listened to Boat).
@@erwinblom I see. No 90s britpop influence at all? How about fellow Dutch indie band Salad? Love the album anyway, regardless of what the influences may be. Best album of the year so far.
@@holifeet They don't know Salad either ;-) But there has always been music around in the Blom House, from Hank Williams to Blur, from Soft Cell to Breeders, from Parquet Courts to Laroux.
