Great job Aaron. This was my favorite room at the capital Audio fest. The Bass is awesome. A lot more energy and dynamics compared to a traditional magneplaner speaker.

I have been fortunate enough to audition this speaker and I was thoroughly impressed.

Recently purchased some LRS plus for one grand. Added a blemished SVS subwoofer for 250. Hard to believe these would be five times better sounding but I would love to find out.

They are pricey. I own this model and after break in (200hr and counting) they are some of the best sounding planar speakers I have ever owned. I have had Apogees and Eminent Technolgy 8b's. Both great speakers, but this Diptyque really is an example of updated technology for this design. It truly sounds fantastic and great bass after break in. Placement is critical for the best and presentation. I like tweeters inside for center image. Also, not very difficult to drive.

Great finish to the speakers, the speaker rep voice stands out.

Why is it so hard to design an enclosure for a planar system!!🤔
This only makes it hard to get a phantom center with all the reflections from the back of the speakers 🤦‍♂️.
Who wud want reflections from the back anyway!!

It's weird to me that speaker designers are so stuck on making dipoles, while I'm sure that having an enclosure introduces front side resonances, it's still going to be a lot easier to get an ideal response than dipole. Personally I think est/ribbon/planar companies could all develop back boxes with metamaterials built in to handle a bulk of it tbh....

Hi Gene. This off this topic. Have you seen /read that Tidal is dropping there prices for Dolby Atmos music for all there apps to about 10 USD From the 10th of April USA time. Now that's 3 Music streaming for the same price. Be Interesting to see what Spotify and Qobuz do.

Need to see some measurements to believe it. Pretty rare for any planar design to get to 35hz

Perhaps one day we will get some in for review. Our listening demo proved these speakers have impressive bass response. I've never heard a Planar design produce this much bass without the addition of cone bass drivers to supplement them.

It's all about placement. I have a pair of openbaffles and, if placed correct, they have good low end, yet an open airy sound. Another openbaffle strength is there is no boomyness unlike most boxed speakers.

Interesting presentation…Own a Pair of Dahlquist DQ32 Phased Array Floor Speakers. A pair that rolls up its sleeves and gets the job done.
