Hello🤝 I'm glad that you finally accepted sponsorship, there's nothing wrong with it, I live by this: if something I do doesn't hurt me or anyone else, it can't be wrong, you deserve it, I wish the whole family all the best, greetings from Poland👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👋👋👋👋👋👋
Sorin Can you make more like this? we are replacing the motherboards at no seconds at 99 % of cases. This was great . repair a motherbord without CPU, RAM .... and the most innofensive PCBWAY "advertise" ever seen on RUclips. GREAT JOB !!!! THANK YOU !!!
If you have followers all over the world (live coffee proves that) and 340K subscribers (many of them service technicians)... another way of saying it: If I own a factory to sell electronic products, I would be very interested in your channel. Excellent repair of that board for a desktop PC (they are still my favorites). Thank you very much for sharing. All the best.
True! In the end, any kind of advertising is worth it if it helps him to grow and maintain the channel. Linus Tech Tips have become huge, and they receive many types of advertising.
Great video (as always) and nice to see your videos being sponsored directly (by PCBWay) - shame you've monitised it through RUclips as well as an 18 minute video I was watching whilst washing the dishes turned in to a 35 minute video with all the RUclips adverts I couldn't skip as I had wet hands in a washing up bowl! Looking forward to the next video already as learning so much from you :)
Very smart move to game RUclips rules by RUclips itself and compensate the loss … Personally, I was not interrupted by any Ads 😊 Obviously another nice learning tu start the day…
@DumaBrazorf: Your last question killed me! ...LOL. Seriously, it's a way to save on shipping costs (desktop PC metal case is bulky) and we all have at least one CPU (our comparison standard). All the best.
Operating without coffee, is a recipe for disaster. Yet, because you are a master of your craft, I will restore my faith in you. Right after the second venti of 6 shots of espresso and a shot glass of heavy whipping cream.
You have a mistake related to the mosfet ,its not alaways the mosfet is n channel the drain is connected to the 19 v .it possible to have one as a p channel and his drain is connected to main 19 v

I have a 2008 vivo I got from a garage sale and I can't get it to turn on the power button flashes green and when I hit the power button the red light on the front stays red as you press the button. I have a hunch there's bitcoin on it well hoping so. kinda hard to trust someone with it.
@tim0steele: Yeah! I agree with you but (6:40 exactly and freeze frame) observe almost in the center of the image, a little below and to the right of the three inductors: that tantalum capacitor was already damaged and the thermal camera shows a hot spot but in another area of the PCB (6:34 exactly). So the initial total visual check of the PCB under the microscope is a very good habit. That 180 Watt charger, 18V, 10A (3:41 exactly) is a device to respect (it must be taken into account). The owner of that motherboard was very lucky this time. Sincere greetings, affectionate Tim.
hi, anyone can tell me if is normal to have 0.001 ohms on coils from gpu , i have omen hp rtx2070 i7 9th , i have charging lights and capslock blinking 5 times folowing by 3 short
That gate was 19V to prevent further damage to the board, the current sensor detected the high current and the command to the mosfet was to stop the current flow. When the shorted capacitor was removed the current sensor detected normal current and that 19V was lowered most probably.
1:25 it's hard to imagine that they are doing it to be repair friendly when lenovo has socketed cpu's in their oem builds and on some, they are vendor locking those cpu's to the motherboards so they could not be repurposed or sold when motherboard dies. It is sad to say but they should be praised for not doing something stupid like when intel decided for hm70 chipsets work perfectly with i3,i5,i7 cpus and boost no problem except, they hard-shutdown after exactly 30min because f-you we can, look at our new intel ME and how great it is and what it can do. It's just sounds too good to be true with no catch in this day and age 🤔😮💨

In video advertising = NOT a good idea Sorin ! Understand you lost revenue due to the invalid traffic bug, but in video ads are not good for the viewers. Anyway we will skip that annoying part of the video anyway. Used to like your vids, but you are now destroying your channel like this very rapidly ! Cheers!

Faced with a board with no CPU, RAM or anything you still manage to diagnose. Brilliant.
What idiot customer sends no cpu and ram

What a genius, sending the board without anything on the socket. It's a call for bent pins. What was he thinking? That Sorin stole his cpu?
