Not really influence but the tone of his voice is very similar to Jimin’s. Seungwoo himslef had said he actually takes inspo from mostly Taeyang (BigBang) and Jonghyun (SHINee) for his technique/vocal influence . His voice also sounds more nasally than Jimin’s to me personally but I can definitely hear the similarities

I literally bought an album after listening to one song without knowing if I liked their music or not. I had a bias, Hanse, but the more I got into them I realized a bias does not exist when it comes to Victon.

Not really. He’s inspired by Jonghyun from SHINee, you can definitely hear how he incorporated Jonghyun’s style into his own. The placement is different than Jimin’s by a bit.
I don’t know if you guys are familiar with the group X1 (the group that was formed through the survival show ProduceX101) that disbanded a few years ago, but Seungwoo (the green-haired vocalist that you really liked the voice of near the end) was on ProduceX101 and actually debuted in X1 for the duration of their contract. I think you may have reacted to a few of X1’s songs in the past and that’s where you recognize his voice from!

Victon is really an underrated group. They're one of the few groups I really liked after Monsta X. Their ballads are my favorite though. You should check out their song "Your Smile and You" the live performance one, and their earlier title tracks, Howling is a favorite of mine. Also, their B-sides Farewell and Circle are really good.

Seungwoo is the green hair one & Seungsik the blonde 💖 Seungwoo was actually the former leader of Victon but he was also in another group called X1 (a project group from a tv show where mostly members from underrated groups participate) but they disbanded earlier than expected (scandals) so the leader of Victon is now Seungsik bcs Seungwoo didn’t „want“ it back bcs maybe he felt „not good enough“? I’m not too sure though 😅

I hope you will react to more of their music, I recommend you Mayday, Howling, Nostalgic Night (without Seungwoo because he was promoting with the group X1 made from the show Produce X101, and actually the song that made them win for the first time), Time of sorrow, and Nightmare live performance (one of my favorite song by them)
Before Produce X101, Time of Sorrow was supposed to be their last song because a hiatus almost caused them to disband. Thanks to the show people started to notice them and they are finally getting more attention! At the show took parte Byungchan too but he had to leave before because of health issues.
Seungwoo is the former leader, while he was promoting with X1 Seungsik was the temporary leader but after Seungwoo came back decided to let him be the leader, and now Seungsik is the official one.
