The task where contestants, including James Acaster, recreate video games was very good

Back when I first watched this episode, I don't think I've giggled more uncontrollably than when Fern was sitting listing through her options of what to catch, genuinely believing that Alex was pushing her to capture people.

When you do a task where 'best' is involved, you have to think "What will be the most entertaining and cool then that the Taskmaster will like?" And 9 times out of 10 thats how it is scored...the other 1 time just depends on his mood.

I think this might be a great way of doing taskmaster reactions, working your way through an episode, 1 task at a time. Plus this way with one episode you can get the recording for several videos all at once.
I would still advise picking a season and working your way through that though. Always great to see your reactions.

Think of Marmite like salt: A little bit is lovely, a lot isn't.

Marmite: Warm toast, lots of real dairy butter, a little bit of Marmite. Think of it as a butter flavour enhancer

The issue most have with Marmite is that they spread it too thick, Spread it as thin as possible, my favourite is Chunky peanut butter then spread marmite on top.

@ElunedLaine Well, I prefer just Marmite on toast (with a little bit of butter or marg) but in the Netherlands sprinkling a little Maggi on a fried egg is also popular.

Just came across your channel and now subscribed 😊 Taskmaster and 8 out of 10 cats does Countdown are 2 of my favourite shows and love your reactions to them! Love from the UK 😁 ps marmite lover here 😉😂 the most important thing to remember about enjoying marmite is the less the better. Warm toast, propa butter and spread the marmite on so it melts in with the butter. And a cuppa mmmmm lush ❤

Marmite is lovely, the reason people think they hate it is because its such a strong flavour it can shock some, but it's like any and all other flavours they are acquired, it's brilliant on buttered toast(hot toast so butter and marmite melt in) once you've got past the shock it gets to the point you will want to spread half a jar on a couple of slices.

How you broke up this particular episode was good and I think how you should do it from now on but in chronological order so starting from s1 e2 it’d be more beneficial in the long run than picking random episodes here and there imo

I see most people have given up saying it at this point and I’m even sure if you read the comments, but please PLEASE react to whole seasons episode by episode! It worked for episode 1 and I didn’t mind it being cut in 4 or whatever. Same cast for a whole season. Loads of references and callbacks that you’re not getting. Loads of rising tension, developing relationships and running jokes that you’re missing.
You wouldn’t dip in and out of random scenes of a sitcom

A little bit of marmite in your mac'n'cheese will elevate it to another level.
Just use a tiny bit to start with as it's a very strong flavour, and you can always add more if needed.

Using Alex or asking him do the work on some tasks sometimes goes well with Gregg , and works for the audience - others not Munya was a bit lazy there . Fern and Sarah had help from the production team obviously but the results were good . Dara is very clever , he also presents astronomy on occasions and his idea was simple but effective . The appeal of Taskmaster is you never know what you are going to get - or how Gregg will react .

Hot toast. Good amount of butter, melting. Less Marmite than you would ever think reasonable - say a pea sized blob. None of this spoonfulls of stuff that people who say they hate it put on RUclips, and you'll be fine.

  • @todddepue681
    @todddepue681 Месяц назад

I dont really mind the CGI-aided task solutions. They are, after all, allowed to use any tools at their disposal unless specifically stated otherwise.
Part of the fun is seeing the varied and unexpected ideas. It'd be kinda sad if they were told to catch ANYTHING they wanted and they all just tried to catch a ball.
Also, as Sarah alluded to, they dont get to see the finished result until its shown in studio, so the contestant relying on the editing team relinquishes a lot of control over the end result.

  • @jaykafei4815

Great reaction as ever, and actually I disagree with what everyone says every video. I like it when you react to individual tasks and I know how impossible it is to edit down full episodes to pass through copyright. But you probably could have showed the final task with this one, it's always really short. I'd just find some popular full task videos the RUclips account releases, there are so many awesome tasks. Maybe you could try a task from a different series each video?

Think about Marmite like this. You wouldn't drink ketchup straight from the bottle would you. You use a little of it. The mistake Americans make when doing "taste tests" is they think you have to take a giant spoonful of it and inhale it.

You need to be brought up on marmite to understand it. I know this will blow your minds but there are parents that choose to bring their children up with a savory pallet and not one entrenched in sugar. You can mock a savory pallet but i'll just point in the direction of obesity and diabetes. Which parents really have their priorities in order?
