I remember when Jacob's self-propelled picker was the 1 row Ford 3Point mounted unit. 😄 I guess technically that was his first Uni, since it had a Uni-row.😆
Like all the different camera locations. The high location was the best.Doing Nick things not working out.Imagine that. AG tires for the pickup?😀 That was a nice cold start.
Terrific new year content; there is something about your presentation and editing that just makes your videos informing and fun! Who knows maybe the next project will be rebuilding a baby stroller. Whatever you choose will be interesting. Max doesn't seem to need speech to get his message across. From rural South Australia.
Your husking rolls are worn that’s why husk not coming off we had to replace hours after three thousand acres in our new idea uni husking bed. Back in the day we did lots of custom work
A lot of work put in by you and your dad, machine looks like its doing what you wanted it to do. But what is the turnbuckle for on the control side of the cab?
Will elevator swing out so you can pick on the go with another person pulling a wagon and not have to stop to switch out wagons. I used to haul sweetcorn for a canning company and we would fill trucks on the go and save time and get more acres done quicker
What kind of engine does it have? On the right side of the header there is green iron what is its purpose.? It sure does a excellent job! I’ve never seen 4 row.
You don't show the many hours fixing on the picker. Believe me I have run them. Very good idea their system. New Idea I don't think. It was in back of every corn pickers mind for many years. Just that they are more maintenance to keep them going

Yes cows eat ears of corn. We turn our cows out on the harvested fields of corn to eat the corn missed by harvest and to eat the husks and they eat some of the stalks.
Get rid of that piece of crap new Holland corn head and get a John deere head and you well have a lot better head for picking corn I know that's what I did with my NH piece of junk the john deere head made picking corn so much easier and not near the problems and sped up the picking itself
We ran an 8 row new Holland head that came off a TR-96 on our 8820 new Hollands head got more down corn than the Deere head and was lower profile and had more capacity than the Deere head
Gosh that Allis sounds gooooooooooood!
426 cu in of beautiful singing

Kind of like a uni-brow, right?
Back in 80s nice to cut feilds open and use it for hi mixture. Then rest of it went in crib
14 50 full hi moisture
Great job getting the Uni together! The corn looks great! A great year to have a great crop!

Glad to see it back together and working.Major upgrade from pulling it behind the tractor.

This has to feel like a major upgrade from run the little two row picker and cables tractor nicely done
I wouldn’t suggest doing anything Nick would do, but the creek crossing wasn’t to bad lol 😆
😄💯
Cool video, I told you never try pull three wagons through the creek without the 2910 in front 😁😁🤣🤣
Thanks for the thrill packed fun farming adventures!
What is the turn buckel used for in the cab on your right side for.? Great video as always.

Your grinding your corn for feed so does it matter the husks are on. Have a good day
Jacob is selling most of the ear corn to hunters and less husks equals higher prices.
Great video

It does not.
Your picker is in pretty good shape not shelling so much at the butts unlike your northern counterpart saves a lot of corn at the head
we had a minneapolis moline unisystem with picker.
What kind of engine does it have? On the right side of the header there is green iron what is its purpose.? It sure does a excellent job! I’ve never seen 4 row.
That green is part of the down corn reel. I leave it on to threaten the corn to stay standing.
It has a 426 Allis
Good video.
Looks like fun to drive

I showed the building of it last year. I didn't do anything to it this year.
Do you sell all the ear corn for deer hunters or do you shell it and sell grain?
They run the ear corn through a grinder to make cow feed
And sell to deer hunters
Good stuff.
Nice video
You need a 4x4 truck where you live that would help in this situation maybe - suggestion only
Dobrze to wygląda jak zwykle 😁
Are you from Tatooine? 😆

Who wants whole ears of corn? I'm not a farmer. But about I can think of is squirrel feeder corn, but do cows eat ears of corn?
Some people go as far as burning them for heat(at least when it was cheaper)
They grind the ear corn for cow feed
@@Adam-bw4lw Well that's a possibility. They might have a corn sheller. Or maybe there's a market for ears.
