I think youtube is slowly declining and gradually dying due to overshadowing by TikTok Yt enforcement of rules has become super strict, and monetization gets stripped away fast if the content is controversial. Thus, this article could not be a monetized video. There are also tighter copyright laws for the use of third-party music or entertainment clips in videos.on top of it, the USA and younger generations don't watch YT anymore they think this is obsolete. If you notice there are lots of famous RUclipsr who seldom upload content anymore.
I am sorry to hear of your decision to drastically scale back. It's quite understandable, given the current circumstances. As a long time subscriber, I will miss your regular uploads. I was drawn to your stories because there are many parallels between John's and my life as immigrants. I came to the US in 1977 with only $20 in my pocket, and a barrowed beat-up suitcase with mostly used clothes in it. I faced life altering challenges back then like you do now. I had to choose between being content with less than satisfactory opportunities available to me at that time, or remake myself for a better future. I decided to start all over by joining the US Navy and learned new skills. Fast forward to the present. I am now retired and living a comfortable life here Texas. I'm not telling you my story to brag about my accomplishments, but rather to encourage you to continue to work hard, take good care of your family, and most of all, continue to be the decent human beings that you are now. Retiring in the Philippines has always been at the back of my mind. But the quality of health care back there is holding me back. For the last few years, I've been experiencing life in the Philippines thru your eyes. I will miss that. I wish you the best in your future endeavors, and with your fortitude and positive attitude in life, I have no doubt you will succeed.

Its easy to say . If you can guarantee them a minimum of 200k views per week then they should consider not quitting. If i were in their shoes they should find a stable high paying job rather than wasting their resources youtubing with no guaranteed income . Philippines and many other countries are inundated by foreign and local vloggers and everybody is competing for our eyeballs /attention!
I completely understand your frustration but just maybe God has a different calling for you. Actually that makes much more logical sense.
