- Today, we check out Hisense at CES 2025. With Hisense, we have saved the best for last as I feel their showing was the the most bold and daring. Leaving their very popular U7Q and U8Q Mini-Leds for a separate event, Hisense has focused on delivering cutting-edge technology to the masses. Stay tuned for more Hisense TV coverage. I can't help but feel the advancements in LCD are going to be the future. It makes the most sense for screen size, longevity and eventually price. Thanks for the awesome video!.🙀
Been saying for a couple years now. Tech is gonna keep getting better= dimming zones etc etc gonna keep improving.
I feel the same way 👍
Also Samsung showed that they are moving toward just using many thousands of blue micro LEDs as the back lights with quantum dots for color. At that point there won't be much difference from what you can get from QD-OLED. The human eye can't see and we won't care about individual pixels being off/on as long as it's done at a small enough scale. And the manufacturers don't have to worry about shrinking the micro-led seams and distance apart right away. Sounds like a win/win for everyone.
These companies just need to bring the screen sizes back down to reality 116’’ plus not many people will have a room big enough
Excellent comment my friend! Thank you for watching!
I honestly think Hisense will over take Samsung and LG in a couple of years with their technology and yes, prices. Can’t wait to see their updated line ups on all their TVs in the spring.
Great job Brian on another phenomenal review…..
My wife just loves you, the way you speak, the way you articulate on all your descriptions of this massive tv and all the others you have done in the past.
Well done my friend, 👍 👏
I believe Hisense and TCL will be the top two in just a few years. Thank you, and thank you to your wife for the lovely comment and for your friendship.
Wow, the colors on these RGB tvs look really gorgeous.
I really appreciate the way you take your video... It feels like I was taking the video. you show it from all angles... this what I would do if I to take the video. Amazing work.
I'm looking forward to getting a 98" / 100" RGB Mini-LED with a 4K 240Hz+ panel in the future. Hisense adding DisplayPort to their TV's is awesome!
Perfectly said my friend! Thank you for watching!
Thanks for a great video, B! Love your content. Keep it up!
Thank you so much, my friend! I appreciate you being here.
I watch these TV reviews on my phone mostly, a galaxy s24 which has a great screen. Sheesh, as a die hard OLED fan even I have to admit these RGB-mini led TV's consistently look amazing.
Again, I'm comparing how TV's look on my phone, but every video of the rgb-mini led TV looks amazing.
I just can't comprehend how the produces accurate colors. Really interested to see how it does in a shoot out.
Yes we need 136 inches to watch all those kitten pictures 😂😂😂😂
@@coderdenewbie 😅😅😅
Thinking 100” in family room. 5 yrs maybe micro prices drop & processing improvements. Can wait since have 120” screen in bat cave with 4K JVC projector. Nice review of progressive company who brings products regular video guy can buy. 😊
Very impressive 🥺😮🥺
Thanks Brian
My pleasure, Craig! Thank you as always!
I want that tech in a smaller tv. Brian, do you think they will introduce some smaller versions in the spring? Like 85 inch maybe?
I absolutely think they will my friend
I hear that awesome looking 116" UX cost $30,000 U.S. Can't wait to see what surprises they have in the next few months. Hopefully it's those UX RGB's in 75" - 85" sizes.
That would be amazing! Thank you for watching
Have you done a video yet on the PS5 pro? Prospect of gaming on the excellent 98+ inch TVs this year like the upcoming new 98 inch QM7 is exciting.
Brian is there anymore information on the Samsung QN95F Series?
🫠🫠🫠 I'm all over for it but sadly, they don't do that for 55 inch of QN95F 😢 hopefully Samsung can bring one of these with pure quantum dots panel non VA or some sorted of panel technology 😉
@@Henriquezrainy I found this posted last month. QN95F: 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch, 85-inch
Hisense is innovating. What’s Samsung doing? Marketing?
Samsung is doing the same. However Hisense is more focused. Thank you for watching
The Hisense U7Q Pro, U8Q and U9Q models this year come with the updated MediaTek Pentonic 800 chipset which has support finally for 4x HDMI 2.1 48Gbs full bandwidth ports, 165Hz panels and WiFi 7 support. There is even rumours that the U8Q (U9Q hopefully too?) might have an added displayport to connect directly to a PC. The upscaling on these new Pentonic 800 chips are meant to be so much better than the older Pentonic 700 chips from last year's models.Hopefully ugly macroblocking & pixelation on RUclips will be a thing of the past. They won't be RGB MiniLED technology this year in the U-Series unfortunately but I have been told that the technology will trickle down in future years to the U series TVs. I need a TV this year so I can't wait that out. I am still using an older 65" Sony 9300D.I will probably go with the Hisense U8Q or U9Q 75" or 85" Mini led. I have yet to decide on the size because of my living room space. I'd love an 85" though.
Why does the 100 inch ux have deeper color and more contrast over the 116 inch 🤔
I didn't see that in person. Keep in mind they are smaller and are on the corners. The 116 is in more light
It’s still LCDTV, the black level won’t be anywhere near an OLED TV. The main advantage that I see is the colour volume but how many TV shows and movies are created in that deep colour space, hardly any.
Is the lg C4 Evo a good TV opinions please before I buy
The LG C4 is excellent! Check out my review on the channel.
@@BRIANSTECHTHERAPY thanks for your advice
Hey Brian, at 6:34 is that the actual backlight in action or is that simulated?
I'd imagine it's just a demonstration my friend.
@@BRIANSTECHTHERAPY I hope you get to film one of these with the LCD panel removed, like the way Sony showed off the Bravia 9's backlight. Would be very interesting.
Is the 100UX model RGB miniLED also?
@pierrerion it is however it's not coming to the states. Yet anyway. Thank you for watching
@ thanks for clarifying. Subscribed!
@pierrerion my absolute pleasure! Thank you for watching and welcome the community!

Is RGB mini LED comparable to OLED?
Higher brightness and more color volume, but OLED offers precise local brightness control and crisper motion.
@@goncaloduarte4683crisper motion??? 😂
Yes and no . It's comparable as it's an amazing alternative that is much brighter with amazing color and contrast. Oleds still turn the pixels completely off and can get completely black. That said oled is still very expensive and is very limited in size
So does this mean that within a year or two, a $2,000 85-inch LCD could top the performance of that $7,000 83-inch QD-OLED dream which never came true?
It's not going to top the performance. It's still not self emissive like OLED is.
It'll still be great and normal people can afford it tho so 🤷♂️
@@paulcox2447 OK then ... Can it at least make the $2,000 85-inch LCDs of next year and the year after perform like today's $5,000 85-inch LCDs?
Unfortunately, all that amazing picture quality, most likely, won't work for low latency gaming because the processing to control the RGB MiniLEDs is not lag free
This is why I've remained with oled. However, oleds days are numbered, or at least it's limited.
We don't want to hear about this tv, show us what Hisense can offer the majority. Cheers
@buttoxbrown if you watched it my friend I actually discussed that as well😁
@BRIANSTECHTHERAPY ok will do. Thanks
