Split stays are great. We try to do three days per resort. As already mentioned, the only downside is that your 60 day dining/experience window resets with each resort.
What a great show. We tried split stays and enjoyed it but we never really walked around the resorts. I was thinking about renting out my points for our trip to Tokyo Disneyland but out of the blue my son came home and wanted to stay at Aulani so there went my points.
Great show! Do you swap with timeshares outside of Disney in Florida? Also what is the breakdown exactly for cancellations after the 120 day period? Thanks!
My question is when renting points how long does it typically take to rent them out? I’m guessing it depends on the time of year, how many points and lastly the resort you’re renting?
Thank you for the great video! By renting points does WDW have any "identifiers" (such as given you a bracelet to wear to the pool, etc.) that they use to track you differently from DVC owners? I think there is some nervousness about not belonging, or being "caught" as a DVC outsider...
I've watched the last 37 episodes of this webcast. I love everything you all (especially Derek) have had to say! I dont understand why this episode features a guest that is a NON DVC owner. Isn't that the whole point of this content?!
is it unrealistic to hope/expect to score a more desirable DVC resort (like Boardwalk) near Pop prices ($230-250)? - are bus pick ups from OKW and SS as lengthy as reviews say?
It takes about 15 minutes at S.S. Hint, the Grandstand stop is the first pickup, (guaranteed to get a seat) and the first drop-off at night. We always stay at the Grandstand with it's views of the golf course, private pool and best bus service on property.
I recently looked on Disney’s website and saw that pool hopping is still suspended for DVC members. I heard that you said we could pool, hop as a perk. Is that true? My family wanted to do a Boardwalk day and go to there pool, even though we are staying at Copper Creek. Can we hop to there pool?
Yes! The question most people have is does it apply if you are renting points so we wanted to be sure to cover that YES you still get the promo even if you rent DVC Points. Thanks for tuning in!
If you are on a budget it is important to note that the dining plan does not save you any money.
Thank you Ladies! Look forward to see your show each month. I don't have any questions. I just enjoy hearing latest and greatest information.
Thank YOU so much for tuning in Nancy - we really appreciate it!
My covid pivot moment was buying a small DVC contract after missing out on our 2020 Disney trip.

Wow. Another example of how much “work” Disney is.
Great show very informative!

Great show ladies and Derek we always seem to run out of points . If we wanted to rent points for a pre and post cruise is it worth it for 1 or 2 days

Pool hopping was stopped after COVID and had not resumed
Yes! Thanks apologies for confusion thanks for tuning in!

Omg, Derek’s shirt is magnificent! Where can I get one of those? 😱
Yeah really where did he get that?! Love it

Our apologies for the confusion. Yes pool hoping is currently suspended.
Oh, no! Well thanks for the quick answer. Hopeful that will change soon. It would be a nice perk to bring back.
Derek is the World of DVC voice of OZ lol
Hahahah - stop it Dani ;)
can I have my dvc for sale N Sametime rent out my points,
Anyone else get Charlies Angels flashbacks seeing three women talking to a man on a speaker phone?
Just an FYI, the free 2025 water park day is for ANY Disney resort guest-not just Deluxe resorts-not Swan or Dolphin though 🫤

But still only for the day of check-in. Right? Best non-useful promo ever!
