I use a shop vac to flush a buried valve. That worked for me. I hand cleaned the valve in the sink. There was a small pebble in it from a break caused by roots.
You might need to replace the shutoff valve. Be sure to get a Spears or KBI from Ewing Irrigation on McCoy--don't buy one from a hardware store or HomeDepot.
So I have 11 zones in my system. My system runs off of a shallow well with a 2 Hp pump. System comes on fine with timer and works great until it reaches zone # 8. At that point pressure drops dramatically in zone #8 and only a small stream comes from one or two of that zones heads. I then go to my well pump and crack the threaded bleeder on top of the impeller housing. air bubbles will then come out and within a minute or two zone #8 will pressurize and come to life. The system will then finish off the remaining watering cycle without a hitch. Next day this same problem will repeat. What might I check in my system? Thanks
Arnold, I'm not a well expert and I've never heard of that particular issue before. You might run that by your favorite well pump service provider. They should be able to talk shortly with you about it over the phone without a service call $$. I can't think of what would cause that. Good luck! BTW. have you watched the well water video?
@@SprinklerPros thanks for the reply. Two days I’ve left the pump bleeder cracked and the system now purges itself. So I think I’m on to something. I’ll make that call. No have not seen it but will search for it.
This channel is amazing thank you! I just subscribed and I'm currently binge watching many of your videos!

Awesome! Shop vac is a great idea. I don't have room for that on my truck.
Very thorough and well presented. I can't locate the link for the "Josh's Boxes" am I missing where it's located. Thanks again.
Ollie, Go to my Patreon site (Sprinkler Pros Academy) linked in the description section of my videos and you'll find JB in the store section. Thanks.

I think my bleeder screw is broken. I turn it counter clockwise and nothing happens. Should I replace my whole valve?
What brand is it? Do you know the model? Is it an inline valve or anti-siphon valve?
