The fact that he swayed the majority of the council away from the very foolish blunt-force solution of the Eastern Duke; by the time half the nobles had given their ascent, I was practically begging my POV character to say something. And I knew Kiyoko would be a friendly, but her being a total fangirl for NDs exploits is a nice touch. If ND has any common sense, he'll make sure to make a friend of her and secure majority leverage in the court. This is the kind of stuff I keep coming back for. Good job, keep it up!
I mean it makes sense why she chose him. Earl Aos said that the Empress does everything for a reason so to me he was always going to be the "Duke with a big heart but has the potential to be a political power " because the Empress most likely had insight about the ND (Violet). *That on top of the hints dropped at the beginning I like your analysis though. The care and attention you put into this script and audio really shows. I sincerely appreciate both of you ladies’ dedication and effort to offer quality content to us. The entire cast did a wonderful job at getting into their roleplays. And all of them brought their character to life and helped make the story more immersive. The male voice actor for Earl Aros fitted his role perfectly as he sounds very noble-like, and I really love the amount of emotions he puts in his acting. You did an absolutely amazing job creating the Main Character, the Northern Duke. I really like how he’s not just a politician, but also a noble knight that would go out his way to help people in need, and save their lives by defeating monsters, and does so much to illuminate the lives of the people. He possesses noble qualities such as courage, selflessness, and a desire to help others which is what made Empress Kanade attracted to him, and chose him instead of the Eastern Duke. I really like how he hides his extraordinary talents in order to avoid bringing any unnecessary attention to himself, but then slowly reveals some of them which takes people by surprise. And so, it was a cool moment at the meeting when he told these nobles how rash and illogical their plan was to think that just increasing man-power will solve everything. And then he came up with a really smart plan which surprised everyone. I really like how envious and angry the Eastern Duke became seeing the Main Character e gets a lot praise for his ingenious plan, as well as being selected by Kanade. Your performance with Empress Kanade’s roleplay was very excellent. I really love her kind-hearted personality as she is a just and caring ruler that wants to establish peace. She also shares similar qualities with the Main Character, as she is willing to periodically help others. Her country is literally on the brink of entire huge war, but she remains steadfast and is determined to face challenges and obstacles in order to ease tensions between the different kingdoms, unite the country, and maintain peace. My favorite part has got to be when the Main Character and Empress Kanade had heart-to-heart talk together as they shared their feelings, aspirations, and personal problems. It was so heartwarming when she reveals why she had selected the Main Character to be her husband. I really enjoy this type of chemistry between these two characters. I especially loved how heartfelt she sounded when she was apologizing for the inconvenience she may have caused to the Main Character. Also, you also did a great job conveying the shame and guilt that she felt when she refused bring back Violet. All of this displayed her excellent character and really showed how humble she is. You did a great job at creating a suspenseful build-up in a story. You introduce these plot elements by building up the conflict and tensions within the kingdoms, and the conflict escalates, continuing to cause tensions for the characters.
I wish to hear more. Reminds me of a D&D game I'm a part of. Two of our members are a nobleman and noblewoman we have been sent out into the untamed lands where they will have tails of his great deeds when we return to the kingdom. I rolled middling on my starting position so I'm more of a retainer without being of the Noble House myself and my brother who rolled low we call Patsy.
I'll say this now. This is by far the highest quality asmr I've ever got from all 30+ asmr channels I've been with. The script, voice acting, heck even has other VA's which most asmr channels don't feature. It's amazing honestly and I'm very critical when it comes to this but you and the other VA's manage to make me stay. Good job. You have a bright future with this type of quality.

-I think it's safe to say the Eastern duke is the leader of the souless rebellion or plays a part in it. -Gets into an argument over having/potentially misusing the Empress's seal behind her back -Threatens the northern duke saying "I always get what I want watches your back" -Gets mad at a logical suggestion -Intentionally tries to separate the 6 families knowing they need to be more united then ever And then that last conversation he had with someone saying "I just don't want to hurt her" Not to mention the Viscount maybe (maybe) playing a role in this He lost a lot when the listener took over so overall thats what it seems like. Very interested in seeing part 3. This is really good work. I love it❤
A month late, but I finally listened to this, and it was good. It's pretty rare for me to listen to an audio that successfully builds and invests me into a world to the extent where I have to pause to just think about the world. I definitely like the dynamic between ND and Empress. I would've personally suggested a more directed approach to resolving the resistance uptick (I am a massive nerd). An unorganised movement that's intensifying operational tempo becomes vulnerable to infiltration. Of course, the unorganised nature implies divided resistsance cells, which complicates overall intelligence, but then again, whether modern resistance cell structures would be the case is not to be seen. Additionally, blunt force policing (as is typical of preindustrial times) could give way to a hybridised approach of a mass of regular police/garrison soldiers, aided by a core of mobile shock units (which is achieveable due to the localisation of the resistance issue). This avoids unnecessary presence while creating a more flexible force. Finally, due to the seperatist nature of the resistance, bolstering border security, or even engaging in limited cross-border raids (should enemy bases, supply centres, or affiliates be located), would prevent coordination with a foreign power that has every reason to aid them, while cutting them off from important resources.
