A short film that took me on an emotional rollercoaster. It's sad that he was willing to give up his partner to keep him "from getting sick." I love how in the end he still loved him regardless.
People can still live long and somewhat normal lives with HIV these days. Medicine has come a long way with treating HIV and Aids. For some It's no longer the death sentence it use to be.
There is a British singing duo from the 80’s called Erasure and the singer, Andy Bell has been HIV positive since way back in the late 80’s. With the help of medication he is still alive and well today and still performs regularly. HIV is not the death sentence it once use to be.
Yeah, you're right, they just need to use medication for whole life. But I think it's not that much a hassle, they could get the medication freely from government, also it's not that much like tuberculosis medication.
i agree with the long life but the short , in my unwanted and unasked opinion (heheh😓), is not about the life that comes after accepting and start to deal eith it, but is about the first shock and trying to protect the personthat he loves. cuz the first thing is not to let my love have to go through what i will have to go through! the desire to protect and shealter, if you love someone, is primordial in ones mind isthis situations, i think! but that is is just my, unwanted and unasked, take in to this short movie! 😀😳
4 things: 1 - I just wanted to know the passage of time, how many days they were apart, until Golf went to the apartment and found the test result? 2 - missed the subtitles for the messages and the writing in the paper ☹ (thankfully I got to discover that Louis is HIV positive by the comments) 3 - I know Louis did that meaning well, he cared and felt protective of Golf, he wanted him to live without any concerns and thought getting distant would be better, but BUT ☝ knowing the truth is always better, all the suffering both went through wouldn't happen if Louis talked to Golf and moreover, a relationship is about more than 1 person, all the people involved must be aware of what affects the relationship, if Golf decided to be with Louis after knowing he's HIV positive, than that's it, maybe Louis had thought that he couldn't bare Golf leaving him so "better leave him myself", but that's an assumption, don't push before knowing, both could've get through the hardships together, been a support to each other and they still can do it now that Golf knows, it may has sufferings but it'll be different from the heartbreaking moments they went through 4 - the story is great, the acting, the camera work, the audio, everything is great, congratulations everyone that worked to this short film be released 👏👏👏

As someone who is going through a difficult situation related to health I don't want my partner to be with me at the same time I really want to be with him.Ya its really confusing.Emotions are really changing each moment.Uncertainty of future,the fear of being rejected by him even after he said he doesn't care,the prblms he have to face from family bcz of me ,these things really make me feel terrible .........I think I can you understand this character well

I assume you’re of Asian origin, maybe even Korean... If so, i can understand you even twice as much. Asians have a much more pronounced sense of compassion, understanding, responsibility and respect towards their fellow human beings due to their cultural/ educational background. Europeans are not always that empathetic and therefore less pressured. But in the end, no matter where you come from, the basics/ standards or values of a real relationship are fundamentally everywhere the same. Where people do not communicate honestly with each other and express their genuine feelings, no breeding ground for love can develop, and most certainly not an everlasting relationship. Make the most out of the little things in life and share what you have to give. Be grateful for what you have and what has been giving to you. After shedding tears at the end of the film I burst out laughing when the cast information showed up because it’s useless since I cannot understand Thai only what’s written in English!!!

Kudos to these actors! 👏 🥰They did a great job❗At some point, I felt the cliche' of concept wherein the one who experiences an unexpected health problem pushes the one he loves away from him just to owned the burden. In contrary, I still enjoy this short movie especially when Pond appears it makes the film more interesting 'coz it seems like he has feelings towards Golf. Honestly, I still don't get why people who are in a relationship have to keep some problems on their own and not share it to their partners . coz' I believe being in a realtionship it means sharing the love and sharing the problems together so that they can even make solutions together. Whatever it is, you can’t decide everything on your own in a relationship. Your partner had the right to know and decide too. Though you might think it’s the best for him, but it’s not. It’s just confusing and heartbreaking to be left in the dark.
That was sad and hopeful. Sad that he thought he had to suffer alone. Sad that he wasn't honest with his partner. Relationships are not always happiness and sunshine, there can be really dark days. Hopeful because they still loved each other and hopefully, they will face it together.
well, I understand he didn’t want the other guy to live with him having HIV and saying he was protecting him. However, not telling him he was positive only put his partner at risk. His partner needed to get tested to see if he had it. If did and went on having sex with a new guy he wouldn't know he was giving him HIV. Also, people live normal lives on meds and with the prep, you can’t get HIV. I felt bad for the guy who took care of him and wanted to be with him.
Oh my, first i was all "aawwwww..." and then it ends in sobbing.... Its still quite a challenge for a couple to deal with that diagnosis. Yes, its not the death sentence it used to be, still it makes life more difficult. Like every chronical illnes that needs medication for ever there are short term side effects and long term side effects. And to deal with that kind of diagnosis is not that easy. This is such a good short film, all the cast is awesome! I really hope to see more from the studio and the cast, this was such a good work!
A great message shot in a short span. Giving up someone we love during their miseries is not humane. Support our loved one when they in need. And hiding something , however horrible it is , very important is not justifiable. Disclose , discuss nd share and let the partner decide what to do and what not to do. Golf and louis both are so sweet and graceful. They have good chemistry. And really hope we will have long series from them. Congrates for the team.

We can see the issue from another prism! A straight man (P Louis) doesn't become GAY overnight! Upon assuming the relationship with Golf, he felt he had a friendly shoulder and a safe haven! Then the shame, the fear led to him being silent! On the other hand, the protection he had from golf was a sign of love!

I recently learnt that with proper treatment and meds people can still live normally, like stay with partners and have kids. It's just they prevent to have AIDS.

knowing 3 people who have hiv ,this is so sad and a reality of to many .But with meds lots can still happen ,way back in 1999 we didnt know much .We seperated all his laundry dishes everything seperateI now we know so much more and i know hiv positive people live many normal long lives.I really loved the little story with so much heart in it .Thank you

knowing 3 people who have hiv ,this is so sad and a reality of to many .But with meds lots can still happen ,way back in 1999 we didnt know much .We seperated all his laundry dishes everything seperateI now we know so much more and i know hiv positive people live many normal long lives.I really loved the little story with so much heart in it .Thank you
