What is your current favorite perk? 🤔
Definitely Saboteur!
autodidact
Sabo or wglf
Windows of opp
Mane im new to dbd im just tryna learn some basic shit to run thats also good 😭
"Getting out of slugging situations"
Survs doing it immediately after my first down for the millionth time:
Why would we not do it?
@@Nickyyy- buckle up and for the people is super OP and should be nerfed immediately
@mzzsoldier25yearsago65 honestly buckle up should just be changed entirely
It should NOT give endurance, they just slapped endurance on it and called it a day
Extremely uncreative and unintuitive of them, obsoleting things like Soul Guard, WGLF, and even half of MFT (even tho the endurance for MFT should be removed)
@@clockwork6020 found the killer main who gets shit ok by FTP every game
@clockwork6020 tbf though, it's previous use made it literally the worst perk in the game. Now it's used and I'm here for it.
Aware it’s a commonly used perk, but for those who don’t understand the value, Deja Vu is incredible. You can avoid 3 gen situations, decrease time waste of thinking/looking at what gens to do and have a great 6% extra repair speed. Would highly recommend!
True! And in combination with Resilience it's even permanent +15% on genspeed.
(99% heal with a Medkit makes this combination even stronger)
Deja Vu is a must for me, plus Blast Mine. When I don’t have Blast, the killer kicks all my gens
Facts
Deja Vu and Kindred are amazing perks.
Kindred what it do? @@jacksimpson4362
As a killer main, i encourage the use of plottwist more often 😌😈
unless it's with power struggle
And don't run MFT. It's a seriously bad perk. Seriously. Don't ugghhh run it!
gosh i hate u guys so entitled
@@Doncroft1 you gotta love behavior knowing no one would buy this chapter so they just make an op meta merk so people will, cant wait for a nerf in 8 months
@@vody929it was in the shrine like 2 weeks ago, basically everyone has it now
Plot twist has helped me as a killer more than it has ever helped a surv I play against. I have never seen someone actually get value from it in my games. I think it’s good in comp not in most people games
BBQ n deerstalker are good counters. I’ve had maybe 3 killers pick me up with it. It’s amazing being used as a follow to FTP/Buckle Up and sloppy counter. Completely bypass the mending and slowdown from sloppy, and as soon as the broken timer ends you can get up INSTANTLY at full health instead of just then starting to heal
I stumbled across a downed Nick in a soloq game and thought he got downed by the killer until he started nodding when I tried to heal him 😂
@@Nickyyy-I didn’t mean to suggest it’s a bad perk I think specifically in comp or swfs this perk is extremely useful especially when every down and hit counts so avoiding things like jolt matter.
My argument however is whenever people use it in soloQ or just not playing against a sweaty lobby it’s practically just a silent medkit because those things matter much less. I think it’s absolutely a good perk just not as good as everyone hypes it up to be because those situations when it becomes extremely useful instead of just a heal is few and far between unless teammates also have builds around it.
For me it’s kinda like how unbreakable is a good perk but you can go 30 games without it being useful, tho I would say it’s better than unbreakable cuz you have control over when you can use it. Unbreakable requires being slugged but that’s besides the point. I just mean it’s a decent perk that is elevated to amazing status depending on its situation. Tho in my personal opinion most of the time I rather just bring a medkit and a diff perk
I use this perk and it's so much more than just an easy way to heal. I use it quite often as a way to escape killers. I'll be running away and as soon as I'm out of sight and hidden I can activate this and a lot of killers will just keep running thinking I've gone around another corner or bamboozled them with a tree or something. I feel a bit like I've lost a key tool when a teammate can't finish the res and the perk deactivates when I have to finish it myself
It's probably a bit like deliverance.
Honestly distortion is a great perk, especially with many killers running lethal pursuer and other aura reading perks
Yep, I agree. I'm awful in chase so I try to avoid it instead. With all the more scream oriented perks, I might start running calm spirit.
@@chargedattack3559distortion is better since it gives you information. aura reading isn't always obvious. calm spirit doesn't feed you information. not as useful
Bruh ppl that run that shit are rats that hide all game holy shit
Distortion for the hiders.
Object for the aggressors.
@@MusicalGixxer Y'all take notes, we got a real one here.
Distortion is a lifesaver
every time i bring distortion the killer has no aura perks😭
@@antagonist9993bro im playing rn switching the perk on and off because everytime i run it, no aura perks, i turn it off, 4 aura perks lmao so i turn it back on, now you can guess the rest right
@@antagonist9993 That's a lot of information, knowing they have 0 aura reading perks puts a lot of other perks potentially on the table
@lilglitchboi7259 true
@@antagonist9993right!? 🤣
Quick and Quiet, Lucky Break, Calm Spirit, and Light Footed. With this set up, you are now silent when healthy, silent when injured, noises created by rushed based actions are suppressed, and when you’re hit by the killer your scratch marks and blood pools are removed for about 1 minute. Conclusion: You’re difficult to find in general, and even when you’re injured you won’t be easy to spot, but ironically easy to lose track of. The perfect stealth build.
Dbd build
If killer hits you, he won't let you just run away from him, meaning he's gonna chase you, even if your blood and scratch marks are hidden.
@@Alex_Fox21 Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you "Breaking line of sight".
.
The only issue I have with too much stealth is that you may end up distracting the killer away from your unhooked self into someone else who is dead on hook, which is overall less beneficial for the team than actually taking chase. Obviously, it’s not always the case, I suppose you have to be smart and have some decent game sense to use any build correctly 😊
“If you aren’t using these perks your life holds ZERO purpose. You should use these perks NOW”
I have fun using Plot Twist and DS when I get unhooked. The killer usually can't resist the free pickup, giving the one who unhooked time to get away.
Dev's don't do math that is for sure. A perm 3% speed increase is more like a 25% increase in the gameplay. Since most killers are 4.6 m/s and survivors start at 4.0 a .12 increase is nearly 25% gap closure. Add Hope and that is 10% which is a ~80% gap closure at 4.4 m/s. Just a .2 off before they run parallel by the way that is only 5% more haste then your running at killer speed.
Thanks for the math didn’t realise how much 3% was 😭
I do agree that MFT + Hope just shouldn't stack but here are the not "overdramatic" numbers. Your welcome.
a 0.12 increase is closing the gap by 20% not 25%
Add hope and that a 66.66% gap closure not 80%
MFT is "fine" by itself if it wasn't also giving endurance for healing others. There are other perks for that.
This didn’t age well
How so? I'm new to the game
@@jaydenbotelhoall of these perks were reworked once or twice.
Man imma have to start running distortion cause every killer I go against is always taking no where to hide 😂😭
Nothing more fun than going up against 4 swf all with buckle up for the people and made for this 🙃
Yeah, definitely not extremely problematic and im SURE it wont be another 2 years for these things to change like with DS. Survivors get changes SO fast compared to killers
Very balanced and healthy perk for the game :)
Im sure that happens so often....
@@JustAShyGhostit has yet to happen to me. I'll see the occasional one every other game but it's not meta at all.
@@devontetellis4823 I agree, both playing survivor and killer i NEVER see this build. It isnt meta, people dont use it unles sthey sre memeing
"Survivor perks aren't OP" ~ some buckle up-for the people user
Yes if you have 4man squad with boon around completed gen its gg for you killers, easy heals instant pick up from ground coordinated with discord, 4 people with 4 brain cells are god like being with just 9 perks let alone 16+4 items+ 8 addons + 4 offerings
*Runs these perks* “Why is the killer tunneling me?!”
we'll make it plus renewal is a pretty good and fun perk combo.
True but not worth it
@@xrad3269 i luv using it, it comes in clutch on the same level that adrenaline does sometimes
except we'll make it doesn't count as healing the equivalent of a full health state because it's quicker. whenever i use renewal with we'll make it i have to heal more than one person to activate it.
@@findingkia3971 either you're lying or your game is bugged because for me the renewal goes just as fast as the healing speed and thats why i think it's very good. Because sometimes its hard to get a full heal off, especially when your teammates help you heal, but with we'll make it, renewal practically never goes to waste
@@findingkia3971 It used to be like that for me too but apparently they fixed it and I had no idea, so I second their opinion when we'll make it actually counts towards renewal
“5 perks you need to run”
Looks at my four perk slots….
“Guess I’ll die.”
and he's also proceeding with 6 perks 🤭
but on the rational side - these perks are mainly for different playing styles) so you just choose the ones you prefer better)
Some of this dont go well together
It doesn’t mean In one build 💀
@@QXTZE-.John Smart
This is the joke I was gonna make
Troubleshooter is insanely good. Being able to see the killers aura for 6 (I think) seconds after dropping a pallet is really good in chase
"We'll make it counters sloppy" let me introduce you to autodidact :P
Perfect perk to counter sloppy butcher is actually inner healing, not well make it.
Here's another combo buckled up soul guard unbreakable
My fav perk that I always bring is bond. Knowing where my team is and where the gens their working on are is so helpful.
I was actually on the game for hours to get deliverance and since Its paired with we'll make it. I find that to be a pretty good combo
Bu-bu-but I only have four slots...
I enjoy running iron will, windows of opportunity, self care, and bond
yes bring plot twist against my plague with infectious freight + forced hesitation.
plot twisting around a corner mid chase is always fun
I’ve been using We’ll make it for so long
We'll make it should honestly have it's healing speed buffed slightly higher. (Of course this is unfair, however killer anti healing perks should get a buff too)
2 best perks self care and deliverance where you can unhook yourself if you unhook somebody else.
"we'll make it"
The teabagging david, the sleeping meg doing nothing the whole game, and the baby dweet hiding in lockers: no we won't 😂
Buckle up doesn't give endurance anymore
I made a healing/chase&looping build I quite like. “We’ll make it”, “made for this”, “teamwork: power of 2”, & “Resilience”. It’s pretty good to get the unhooks+heal, then you have the speed boost to run and do a gen w/ said teammate you healed (which helps if you stick w/ someone with prove, or follow teammate to intervene and help another teammate, then once taking a hit you get that extra 3% and it’s quite nice for the vaults ect to have resilience on, but really you could interchange resilience for anything your prefer. I like to try to knock out the gens while injured. I’m not the best in chase, like still fairly new to the game but I feel like I can hold my own in chases w/ this build;)
Me putting on gift of pain slowly "yeah use we'll make it"
My typical perk build consists of bond, botany knowledge, we’ll make it, and Made for this. With this I have a chase perk, an information perk, and two healing perks. A healing perk is a must if you’re running we’ll make it.
A perk combo I use sometimes is Lucky Break with Plot twist, you can use lucky break to lose the killer and then plot twist to heal yourself to full without spending any of your lucky break in doing so
I think i was the nemesis in that last clip lol, i was playing yesterday and got the same map and remembered a similar scenario in the last clip Lol, that's crazy.
Add background player to buckle up + for the ppl and you have yourself the speediest recovery.
Plot Twist is so underrated. You have no idea how good that going absolutely silent is. Sometimes you dont even need to do it to reset yourself, if you plot twist and then someone else heals you out of down, you wont automatically get full healed, but you also keep your plot twist for potential chase escape later.
Inner healing and distortion is one of my favorites. Also, considering how so many have been using "Ultimate weapon" calm spirit is amazing, and is useful against other things too!!
Who would’ve ever thought buckle up would become meta, also the fact more people aren’t running off the record is insane it’s a perk I never see to often I see it maybe like 4 or 10 times a day but the only perks I’ve seen as of late made for this buckle up and ftp it’s every game.
I love buckle up now. It's a staple inmy build, for the people or not. It's great if you can keep the killer looping long enough in those 2v1 situations when they get 99ed. You get a get out of jail free card.
I wish endurance like off the record would not be removed bc I NEED to heal my team
I honestly HATE taking off record I always cancel it
Oh wow, i wondered why we were always leaving blood trails.
Thank you kyto for popularizing FTP/BU it's brought so much joy to so many lobbies
Absolutely agree, buckle up should not give endurance to the player activating it... As of now there is literally no downside to using the combo and the killer has no realistic way to outplay it. "just wait it out bro" style
Plot twist is good but becomes a bit dull when you play with teammates who don’t know you have it and try healing if I’m correct your undetected while using it unless your team tries to heal you
Combining plot twist with ds + dh and using it after getting unhooked puts the killer in a bad situation if they try to tunnel you. Plot twist is also helpful for preventing slugging, because if you know you’re going to go down you can just down yourself on purpose, which forces the killer to pick you up or else you will get up by yourself and be healed. I think plot twist is one of the most useful perks in the game.
Tbh alert is just sooo useful, you can see the killer so much in the game
It’s only good solo imo. If you’re playing with friends you’ll know where the killer is anyways. Unless you have superhuman memory and can keep track of what pallets the killer broke I find it hard to get useful info from
Flip flop, power struggle, plot twist, and the perk that resets pallets, go down on an unbroken pallet after resetting it or one that hasn’t been used, and if you are found before you can heal, you drop the pallet, if not, you then are full health
Kyle just know plot twist gets countered by eruption, if nearby obviously when a gen blows up after a down any plot twist person would scream and show their location
Distortion is huge these days. There are a bazzilion reveal ones.
I cannot stop using three perks.
Distortion, calm spirit, urban evasion.
the sheer anti detection of calm spirit and distortion is huge, both counter a ton of perks and abilities.
That said. You do have to be sure to still cover for others. Use the gestures to tell them to run if the reveal happens. Or after the reveal leap a pallet in the direction opposite they went. Interfer in a chase if you haven't been hooked and they have. etc.
Stealth is great, but cooperation is important
And these stupid exhaustion perks, especially mft, I put in both blood echo and genetic limits to almost always have no exhaustion perks be used. And finally, I can have a GOOD and FUN build on killer and not just ALWAYS use SERIOUS builds cuz of how stupidly powerful survivors are. I mean who thought that you should get 80 seconds of endurance?! I'm not worried about heals cuz of my add ons and blood echo.
Plot twist is amazing. So good.
Dont get the purpose of using it to end urself when the killer can already do that. unless ur running a meme build, i dont see the point in Plot Twist
@@Azarath415 because it's silent and you can heal yourself back to full out of it.
Plot twist also counters building onyro Condemn stacks aswell!!
Audiodidact or whatever tf it’s called is a game changer for healing. Rock it with empathy and you’re basically the team medic
Btw buckle up doesn’t give endurance anymore😢😢
Looping build I use Dance with me , Lithe, Quick n Quiet, Adrenaline
Imo potential energy is good for gen rushing (if your on the sneaky type)
You should always use Dark Theory 😎
too bad that buckle up just got a nerf tho:(
Mft gives you endurance after completely healing someone or getting them off the ground
I have a ‘for the people’ & ‘no mither’ build but I just need ‘made for this’ & ‘buckle up’ to complete both
You should add self care also
A good alternative to We'll Make It: Botany Knowledge. Same reasonings, and while Botany Knowledge is only half as strong as We'll Make It, you do not need to unhook someone to activate it. Meaning it works well against Pyramid Head, sluggers in general and if teammate keep stealing unhooks from you
This was so weird to watch because I use plot twist on my full bloody Tapp and I also just started using FTP + Buckle Up
Survivors do have a lot of perks that can counter cheeky play styles from killers.
my solo q build: windows of opp, spine chill, boil over, resilience/dead hard/ or prove thy
I'm loving FTP and Buckle up! It's been a lot of fun to use.
I don't like being chase because i feel i can't escape the killer so i tend to run distortion a lot x)
Made for this doesn't activate when picking people up from the ground exactly, it activates when you heal any health state
While we are at it add mettle of man to that last one
For the people and buckle up reminds me of old borrowed time 2017 days lol
i have lithe and windows of opportunity taking up two spots and i feel like i def can’t get rid of those. the other two slots i occasionally will go between off the record or kindred/deja vu, also we’ll make it or prove thyself. i don’t know which of these works best most of the time in solo q…. the we’ll make it healing is very satisfying but usually if i’m going for unhooks nobody else is working on gens
My best perk combo is dead hard+sprint burst!
My louadout* Urban evasion Sprint burst Quick and quiest and that stabbing thingy
I like the two Boon perks circle of healing and shadow step there so good
Oh but I like this one combo flash bang, low profile, iron will and light weight
Mft is eh against some killers but absolutely devastating against those who don’t have tools to close out chases. I think it’s going to be changed
Its devasting against m1 killer but I main nurse anyway lek
For the moment bhvr doesn't care about MFT they don't change it since the release of the lastbchapter
Buckle up For the People is great word play
So kyto? How good would plot twist, tenacity, unbreakable and no mither be together?
Take ur 2 perks at the end of the video and add self-healing + the Ashley for who gives u an "eternal" endurence statut when u take 3 protection hits (srry i don't remember the name of the perk)
Instructions unclear, I can only equip 4 perks at a time
As a killer main noob that barely came back to the game, I have no idea what these survivor things are doing
I think Soulguard and repressed alliance are good to they are just very situational 😊😊
No more buckle up and for the people, sorry, but that’s such a massive „i wanna fckn kms“ moment as killer everytime you worked hard for your downed surv
Fun fact plot twist triggers eruption
My build for being very much altruistic are
We’ll make it, Botany Knowledge, Desperate Measures, (perk of choice).
I could be wrong but I thought plot twist activated surge/jolt if you were near the killer and went down
correction: made for this works of you finish healing a health state in someone. not just off the ground
so technically mft and for the people is like buckle up as well??
yeah i be picking up all the pallets in the map
Love it that everyone says for the people and buckle up is op combo becouse I was one of the if not the first person to use it after new bucklup😂
But what if I have only 4 slots for perks..
Remember doe, If you fucking suck at the game using perks only because they are "Meta" won't make you a better player :DD
I think the most underrated perk is windows of opportunity, I be looping killers all day.
Fun fact plot twist counters sadako :3
Best perk is self healing , inner strengh, leon flashbang and fixated
For the ppl + Buckle up I start to hate that combo, when survs use that aganaist me I waiting the 10 seconds everytime lol
Made for this still op always endurance after healing if you get death slinger or legion its always 3%speed
Just a safe perk with off the record its 100% the 3%speed
Tenacity, Unbreakable, Soul Gaurd and Adrenaline iykyk
This may be a weird thing, but I feel like they should add cell first form in dbd
Down side of using buckle up / for the people
You get tunnelled
Kyto do you have any tips to be good at the singularity I just got him yesterday and I suck with him do you have any tips?
