Actually as a South Indian, any dosa that is “ordered” is bad enough. Dosa is supposed to be eaten hot from tawa to plate, crispy and not soggy. For ordering or parcel for long journeys, idlis are better.
Those were my exact thoughts!

How Shreya called it 0:40 is THE correct way of pronouncing dosai/dose.
It depends on the region u come from. in Telangana we call it dosa.
I really enjoy the way the crispy dosa glistens in ghee/oil and the way it pairs sooo well with coconut chutney.... AHHH!!! the taste is to die for

People listen to me " It's Udupi , not Udipi" . It's a coastal district in Karnataka , Also called as " Tulunadu" because the language we speak here is Tulu . Ghee roast chicken , chicken sukka , set dosa etc are from our Tulunadu cuisine ❤️

As a Malayali it feels odd to hear the pronunciation not be 'dhosha'. And having anything other than hot filter coffee with it as a beverage sacrilegious. And uzhunnu vada with masala dosa is a must.

For me any day a masala dosa wins literally over any kind of dosa . As its cheap and delicious at the same time.

I'm actually a masala dosa fan... But also, you should try mysore masala dosa (especially street style version) as well... it's really got the spice and tanginess with the balance from aloo stuffing which compliments amazing with coconut and corriander chutneys since I'm not that fan of sambhar

I'll note the combos and try someday if I can but Dosa for me has to be crispy. Plain or Masala doesn't matter, Dosa has to be CRISPY and coconut chutney and Sambhar. That's it!!!

Recently i've got an addiction of Mysore Masala Dosa from Sagar Ratna, Prayagraj
Filter coffee was fine. But watermelon juice, pineapple juice and cold coffee with dosa ? Every food these guys order is with a beverage and the south indian in me doesnt understand that. 😂😂.
