The girl playing the Shamisen is so pretty, like her so much...i really admired this collaboration of original japanese instruments with modern metal...Metal nowadays are evolving into much jollier vibes...not like the past which is much darker in nature...thats why it was much enjoyable to listen...but listening to Japanese Metal is like listening to Anime Soundtracks...probably, because Anime was a Japanese trademark and soundtracks are carried with it...even now, I can still sing those ost's during my childhood days....

When I heard Homura the first time, and I saw their traditional clothes and instruments, I said it is fantastic! ... and appeared Beni with the shamisen, i said the Wagakki Band is very interesting and unique. I started studying japanese the next moment, because I wanted to understand their lyrics. I really like this band.
I'm speechless cause the atmosphere of this concert, fans and band make me so overwhelmed. I wish one day Wagakki Band will come to Wien and hold a concert here.

WAOH !!! also note that those instruments and vocals are traditional, hence tends to get inexorably forsaken and considered obsolete since the young generations rather turn to more ordinary instruments. Voices are just another instrument to me...I can listen to all kinds of languages I don't speak when it comes to music. Some people can't stand any music in a different language...that's sad. They are missing out. My sister is like that. She can dig the instruments but if she can't understand the lyrics it annoys her.

Awesome band, their musicmanship is awesome and traditional japanese instriments mixes so good with modern music! There is also this band amed Cemican from México, they play music using traditional mexican instruments with metal arrangements.

I have never seen a flute and shamisen solo all my life, I missed a lot.
Being able to jump and move like that while playing flute is insanely harder than it looks.
It is hard enough to run around and sing, don't even mention playing the flute...
It's a shakuhachi. but yes, a type of flute.
Not to mention that shakuhachi is really hard as hell to play
