Hey Chris, always enjoy your stories. For people that question the stories, they forget that when you are in the middle of a possibly dangerous situation, your last thought is taking a picture of whatever it is that is threatening you. Never saw a bigfoot, sasquatch, or whatever, but many, many people have viable stories. Others should never judge what they themselves have not experienced, first hand. Just sayin'.

Rock throwing by a Bigfoot is just their way of telling trespassers to get out of their territory. They have no intentions of doing harm, they just want you to get the heck off their property. According to native Americans, a lot Bigfoot are quite territorial and do not appreciate humans invading their land. Great story, Chris. Happy New Year. 🎆🎊 😊

Native Americans will also tell you, depending on the tribe, that they WILL kill.
I forget which tribe it was, but they battled with the Bigfoot. The Bigfoot were stealing their women and children, and murdering the men. So they had to battle it out with them.
They will tell you, just like with people- there are good and there are evil.
      Some DO kill.

      100% agree! Spot on!
They also like scaring us, its entertainment for them. But they just don’t understand how terrifying it is for us to run into them and see them. They don’t understand that we have been conditioned to think they don’t exist. So when we see them, our brains just have no idea what to do… with all that said they do not want to harm us (always exceptions to the rule! And they have bad tree people just like we have bad people like serial killers. But otherwise they know not to harm us or there will be a lot of men in black with powerful guns looking for them. And the great creator’s rule is not to kill us, that they strictly abide by the great creator!)

Thanks, Chris, for your story. There is definitely something out. I grew up with my grandmother telling me a story about their experiences with Bigfoot in Rural Mississippi. It would come through their creek bed in early spring. Tree knocking, sounds, ect. One time my grandpa and his hunting buddies tried to track one, and they sent their hunting dog after it. The dog apparently found something because it yelped, and by the time my grandpa got caught up to his dog, half his face was ripe off. Only signs left was footprints. Crazy to think about.

Coming from UK I always admire you all in US and Canada for having the guts to tramp through forests and trails on your own especially women. This is not a sexist comment but as a woman myself I personally wouldn't walk in a secluded forest by myself or with a friend/daughter. The pioneering spirit runs deep which I suppose I and my past generations have lost in rural England. Happy Safe New Year to all trampers wherever you are. 😃

Back in the early 2000s. On a regular basis. As an over the road truck driver for many decades. I used to run West of Denver Colorado and up to Silverthorne Mine at the top of Loveland pass. The last four miles of the trip to the top of the mountain was a wide dirt road for semis. It is a very dangerous mountain climb going up empty weight. The trick to it and the dangerous part is when you get loaded with that Ore from inside the mountain caves. What comes up must come back down. And you're grossing max weight of 80,000 lb coming off that mountain with no safety runoff ramps for 4 mi with two family tight switchbacks. The scary thing about the trip. Is in the darkness that road is not lit up at all only your headlights shine the way. On both sides of that dirt road is dense forest and is extremely creepy at night. I don't know how many guys have lost their lives by losing their brakes coming off that Hill but you really have to pay attention and use every skill that you've learned in Mountain maneuvering when you're driving an 18-wheeler. Because on that mountain coming down. One mistake will cost you your life. Luckily and thankfully. I did not see any cryptic creatures crossing that road. But I'm sure others have. Keep hiking everyone!

Happy 2023, Chris! This one hits kind of close to home. In fact, when you said this happened in the Front Range west of Denver, I thought you meant here, which is pretty much the mountains directly west of Denver. Still, I live not hugely far from Kenosha Pass, around 30-40 miles northeast as the crow flies.
I love your stories, though I am a cautious skeptic when it comes to Bigfoot. Supposedly it has been sighted in the 1970's in the James Peak Wilderness Area which is not far from here. But I have yet to see the big, hairy guy.
That said, Sasquatch is kind of popular around here. There is a casino in Black Hawk called "Sasquatch Casino". There is a Sasquatch themed convenience store along Interstate 70 in the Front Range. There is a Sasquatch museum called the "Sasquatch Outpost" in Bailey, Colorado which is down the road from Kenosha Pass. They offer Sasquatch expeditions sometimes. They claim there are Bigfoot sightings in Wellington Lake area by Bailey. I camped there a few years back for a music retreat but didn't see anything.
I hope to hear more awesome stories from you in the coming year!

Hi again. I commented a moment ago about having lived fairly close to Kenosha Pass. The actual pass is Pretty amazing, a long flat expanse surrounded by mountains with snow fences to the north. One of the things I've heard about the east Kenosha Pass campground was trash days are wed morning during the summer and many campers have reported seeing these things on Wednesday mornings.

Hi, Can you also include creepy paranormal ghost stories too? Maybe once a week? I still do not know how you are able to be in the woods alone at night? Keep those videos coming!

Happy New Year to you Chris! That was a great story that had me biting off my fingernails. My wife told me we are never going camping in the wilderness. I know these creatures are real. I remember some hunter down here in Louisiana shot at one of these things when it charged after them. It then ran off and they high tailed it out of there. Keep up the great stories and stay warm.

Thank you for making your videos. I appreciate and enjoy these. I live in the Midwest and have had one of those rock throwing experiences near a creek that really rattled me but that was twenty plus years ago. Didn’t see or hear anything besides a couple very large rocks landing in the creek near me. Keep doing what you’re doing. Thanks again!

Great video Thanks! Yeah was dear hunting years ago alone, was sleeping until I heard a horrendous scream like nothing I have ever heard, woke me and I darted for my vehicle parked just feet away, it sounded very close down in that canyon, then quite not a sound I did go back into the tent and slept very little until morning.

Chris, I lived about fifteen minutes east of Kenosha Pass for four and a half years 2014-2019. Loved it. Lots of stories from that area. For fun you should call the Sasquatch Outpost in Bailey CO as they have lots of stories and are super nice folks, they are friends of ours. We visit regularly from Kansas now and if you were to say your friends from Kansas should you happen to call them, they will know us, Linda and Steve. :) So, I'm a regular listener and can't wait to hear this story

Happy New Year Chris! Another good story. Like you said, we always wonder, "What is this thing that people are seeing and hearing?" I dont ever want to see one - too scary, but I wonder, as I do go camping. Glad the Mom and daughter had a safe ending. The fire stove made a cozy warm atmosphere for your story. Watching your video on New Year's Day. Always enjoy your videos. Keep Hiking in '23!

Yes,I am asking for something.I heard the Banshee when I was a teen, (but that's another story).Since then, I've had ear problems.I hear like a cell phone going in and out, hear a word, miss a word, etc. No ENT doctors have been able to help me in all these years.Could you please add CC (closed caption) to your site, so I can read your stories? I'll dance at your next wedding (or not, lol). Thanks for all you do.
