My thoughts exactly! No issues so far except for 1 forced shutdown, but that kinda comes down to having a mid range mobile running too many apps. But really happy that the devs owned up to the issues and genuinely addressed the player base at large. Have really high hopes for the game going forward!
My game stuttering heavily, doesn’t help that i was forced to play using mobile hotspot. Now, its 10x better. Still some small issues, but nothing restrictive.

Everyone should have Jianxin in collection. Dunno, if anyone discovered it yet, but Jia and Mortefi is insane synergy. Mortefis ult turns into machinegun when Jia casts her spec charged, which brings tons of dmg. Like 40+ Mortefi hits. So, theres more synergies like this in the future. Taoqi > Mortefi > Jia > repeat- is fun, unkillable team with good AOE.
@@Adan.2005 Thing is Jiaxin Outro skill buffs liberation dmg and Mortefi still buffs heavy dmg which is a bulk of Calcharo’s ULT dmg so in theory he too can provide a sizable chunk of dps in this setup.
when calcharo is in his ult, his basic attacks and his "death messenger" heavy are considered resonance liberation dmg; so jianxin is technically not a awful option for him while we wait for yinlin or if you don't want to pull yinlin but want to still use calcharo
apparently prydwen has also figured out a rotation for jianxin that generates her concerto really fast to allow you to get that outro buff much quicker at the cost of not being able to utilize her shields and such. its a big enough of a game changer that they outright recommend jianxin as the bis support for calcharo while yinlin isnt out yet. and even when she does come out, like was mentioned in the video you could then opt to use yinlin with sanhua instead on a second team which will be extremely beneficial for your team diversity. ill be picking calcharo from the ticket since i got verina, and im gonna set my permanent selector to jianxin now for precisely that reason lmao.
@@cheezie9520Just use Jiaxin Outro skill into Calcharo ULT. It’s that simple and if you perform his normal rotation perfectly it should only be around 14 seconds which matches up with Jiaxin outro skill timer.

Anyway, I've been trying some stuff myself and it seems like Jianxin intro -> E -> 1 basic chain will generate 120 Chi, then you full channel her heavy to gain her shield, and after that use her Echo skill and it generates enough for her outro. If her liberation is up pop it.

Already got Calcharro and Verina, really like the playstyles of both Jianxin and Lingyang, wouldn't mind getting either. Will probably get Jianxin because Aboba.
People are legit sleeping on Jianxin, She's a practically invincible solo unit. Her ability to give herself shields, heal and attack groups at decent range are all really REALLY good and much more powerful than people give her credit for. You want to be flashy and kill single targets faster sure, pick discount sephiroth, but you want to sit back, relax and let your character safely do the job, Jianxin is your girl. Most of these 'correct' picks seem like picks from 'sweaties' who want to optimize dps and ONLY dps and don't value a better overall kit. If You are a regular human being, and not a number crunching, graph producing machine with unlimited muscle memory reflexes, than Jianxin is a better pick than a lot of the other options.
she is my main but I already see the issues. Bosses with grapple, attacks that you must dodge etc are huge problems. her single target dps is also mid.On harder content where you are undergergeared her shield is useless, her heal is not enough, her fieldtime is too long etc. So my thinking is that maybe with insane investment she will be ok. Her best partner so far for me is Morti but he needs his 4th copy so his burst lasts longer. I pair her with my Havoc MC and the team mostly works with her as sustain/mob dps btw Havoc MC is insane so far
@@planetary-rendez-vous she doesn't even 'replace' healer with shielding... she BOTH shields AND heals at the same time since while the shield is up, whomever you have on the field heals. About all they need to do is make her stagger proof while she's committed to her shield stacking and I expect that alone would skyrocket most complaints with her. It IS true that currently in certain fights their ability to stagger her out of the stance busts her kit.... but that's not really COMMON.
I’ll wait to choose tbh. The Free Standard will apparently last an entire year. So tbh, what I’ll do since I already have Calcharo and Verina, is that I’ll wait until I lose 50/50s and see what characters I’ll get. Like for example if I pull for Yinlin and lose the 50/50 and get Encore and I already chose Encore? It’ll end up wasted. I’ll wait till I get 4/5 standards and choose whoever I don’t have
The character copies are still good, this game doesn't ecourage collecting all the units, so it's better to pick who you want now and then their copies aren't "a waste"
@@outlawsylagreed but still a good idea to wait and see how synergies etc develop and who is simply the most fun in certain rotations so it makes sense to wait a bit unless you really want a certain pair right at the start.
Lingyang got such a weirdly bad rep I pulled him on my alt account and he's actually super fun and does alot of damage the air combat feels really smooth for me as well. I honestly think someone is gaslighting the community lol
I think he was optimized for global since in alpha it was true his air combat was clunky sometimes completely missing his targets. Even with all these problems I still planned to pull for him before launch and was pleasantly surprised to see him come home in 4 pulls.

Jianxin is very good and a bit slept on. I think her ultimate buffing will be really valued in the future. I'd put priority for her over Encore personally.
Picking Verina if you dont have her is the only right answer meta wise. Even if she going to get powecreep, 3 new character better than her need to release for that to happen.We need 3 team and have 2 dedicated sustain/support so the new sustain go on team 3. After that the next sustain will remplace Baishi and not Verina because Verina is simple better in all aspect and after all that the 3rd sustain/support could possibly remplace her ….. So I think were safe with Verina for atleast the 4 to 5 next patch

I'm just here to listen to proper pronunciations. HOWEVER, I'd like to point out that this combat system and player skills factor heavily into one's success of a character. For example I'm going for Jianxin because her playstyle reminds me of the longsword in monster hunter. The I-frame + counter with her skill speaks to me.
My strat. I got Encore on my first banner. Going to choose Calchero on the 5* select. And Verina on the targeted convene as I don't need 3 teams right now and Baizhi will do until then. Skip Jiyan 😢 and go full in on Yulin. I will give Verina and Sanhua C1 to Encore. And give Baizhi, Yulin to Calchero. I will give the 45 union weapon to Encore, pull with standards for a Calchero 5* weapon and if I'm lucky with Yulin any left over limited pulls on her weapon.
I managed to pull Calcharo on the first banner, I'll get Verina on the 1st selector and Jianxin on the 2nd selector. I got a Taoqi and Mortefi from the limited banner without getting the General so I'm primed in for getting Yinlin. I'll probably end up with the following 3 teams when the 2nd limited banner drops: Calcharo/Yinlin/Verina; HavocMC/Sanhua/Yanyang(heal build) or Baizhi Jianxin/Mortefi/Taoqi or Baizhi -> Mortefi seems to have good synergy with Jianxin on his ult at least and Taoqi can further enhance Jianxin if the only reason you want to play her is because of her in-built counter. Then I'll just have to save up Asterite for Camellya because I love me dem crazy girls with a bunch of red flags! Well either Camelly or Changli, she seems to have a bunch of red flags too!
I'd say the best way to go about it is to get your early 5 Star on the beginner banner, select who you want for your guaranteed banner, and then whoever you didn't get that may be useful, you use your selector on

Got Jianxin and Verina from both starter banners. Thinking of holding on 5star ticket and continue to pull on limited banner to see if I gonna lose 50/50 or not. It would be really sad to pick Encore, or Calcharo and then getting their dupe.... Btw I think ticket will work for a YEAR and Kuro games I heard will add some limited heroes to standard banner - so maybe better idea to hold on to it and pull the new standard hero instead.

I got verina from the 50pulls. Chose to get encore from the 80pull choice banner, got her in 20 pulls. Went for the weapon banner and got the rectifier in first 10 pull. Becaus eof this, I picked encore for my free 5star to increase her fusion dmg.

if it takes a week to get the 80 standard ulls then you probably aren't getting the second guaranteed yet, since you first have to complete the starter banner which can take up to 50 pulls
Ok, so, regarding the game's performance issues, after the few reсent patches it's finally playable for me. To put it in the context: MY LAPTOP DOESN'T HAVE A GRAPHICS CARD
Calcharo is cool but personally i like melee attackers the most such as Jianxi, Yanwu or Lingyang. Im using Danjin Verina and i will pick Jianxin from selector, and still thinking about which char to pick in the guaranteed 5* banner. It can be Calcharo or Lingyang. I dont like Encore.
What about dps Taoqi + MC + Jianxin team then? Taoqi just for burst while MC/Jianxin are on cd and theoretically has a decent burst damage scaling from DEF
The only choice is Verina in my opinion. I have Jiyan, Calcharo is close to being pulled from standard, and I was lucky enough to get the others. Except Encore, but she is meh..in my opinion.
i was very "lucky" bc i lost the 50/50 to monklady who i really wanted so i could switch my choice banner to verina and if i decide to pull for electro lady i can use my select ticket for sephiroth
Honestly thought my account was done when I got lingyang as I just don’t like his playstyle or character but I managed to get my 80 pulls and got calcharo twice getting him to E1 now on my guaranteed ima get Verina my account is pretty stacked now
Hot Take: After the launch balance changes, the 3 best main DPS are shaping up to be Jiyan, Danjin, and Rover. None of the standard DPS characters matter. If you play Rover then one of your standard banner characters should be Jianxin. Rover feels a bit overtuned right now, but maybe thats intended, I dunno. Yinlin needs to be mega busted to cover for Calcharo's mega nerfs, but if that happens then any future electro main DPS is going to completely eclipse Calcharo. It doesn't help that the free standard 5-star broadblade is ass compared to the sword version. So you gotta dump even more gems to try and get Jiyan's weapon banner if you don't want Calcharo to be way behind Danjin and Rover. I know its something a lot of people don't wanna hear, but it is what it is.
Calcharo DPS is relatively the same as back in CBT 2 if not higher apparently majority of the “nerfs” were already part of CBT2 all they technically did was buff him by added his old S2 into base kit allowing him to deal more dmg. Edit: Apparently Jianxin is also Calcharo’s 2nd BIS buffer because of her outro skill buffing liberation dmg by 38% for 14 seconds combined with Verona buffs which puts his DPS near same level as the Yinlin + Verina buffed Calcharo. Also the nerf he received going into release was the plunge atk nerf everyone got. Edit: Just to clarify what I meant about the 2nd part this is assuming Yinlin’s own dps is not taken into account.
Simple, just get jianxin, if you have her? Pick her again, get her at E6 and then your 5* weapon with max dupes, jianxin is everything Just kidding pick whoever you want 😅

Hey MR POKKE I think you are overlooking the long term potential strategy. I am using all 3 of my free 5 stars on Calcharo because he was my beginner 5*. With the wavebands in the store it makes getting a r6 standard unit very reasonable long term for a FTP account. ESPECIALLY IF WUWA gives out more standard selectors. His r6 looks like a massive power spike imo (I also picked up the jinyan weapon for him)

his basic attacks are basic attack damage, only dodge attacks and heavies are considered RL damage
The ONLY option is to pick whoever you want since you can literally pick 2 guaranteed characters

I got Calcharo on the beginners banner. So I picked Verina as the guaranteed. Then I lost 50/50 on limited banner and got Calcharo AGAIN. So now we get to pick a free standard 5 star. Idk what to to pick. 🤔

I'm just here to listen to proper pronunciations. HOWEVER, I'd like to point out that this combat system and player skills factor heavily into one's success of a character. For example I'm going for Jianxin because her playstyle reminds me of the longsword in monster hunter. The I-frame + counter with her skill speaks to me.
My strat.
I got Encore on my first banner.
Going to choose Calchero on the 5* select.
And Verina on the targeted convene as I don't need 3 teams right now and Baizhi will do until then. Skip Jiyan 😢 and go full in on Yulin.
I will give Verina and Sanhua C1 to Encore.
And give Baizhi, Yulin to Calchero.
I will give the 45 union weapon to Encore, pull with standards for a Calchero 5* weapon and if I'm lucky with Yulin any left over limited pulls on her weapon.
I managed to pull Calcharo on the first banner, I'll get Verina on the 1st selector and Jianxin on the 2nd selector. I got a Taoqi and Mortefi from the limited banner without getting the General so I'm primed in for getting Yinlin. I'll probably end up with the following 3 teams when the 2nd limited banner drops:
Calcharo/Yinlin/Verina;
HavocMC/Sanhua/Yanyang(heal build) or Baizhi
Jianxin/Mortefi/Taoqi or Baizhi -> Mortefi seems to have good synergy with Jianxin on his ult at least and Taoqi can further enhance Jianxin if the only reason you want to play her is because of her in-built counter.
Then I'll just have to save up Asterite for Camellya because I love me dem crazy girls with a bunch of red flags! Well either Camelly or Changli, she seems to have a bunch of red flags too!

I'd say the best way to go about it is to get your early 5 Star on the beginner banner, select who you want for your guaranteed banner, and then whoever you didn't get that may be useful, you use your selector on

Got Jianxin and Verina from both starter banners. Thinking of holding on 5star ticket and continue to pull on limited banner to see if I gonna lose 50/50 or not. It would be really sad to pick Encore, or Calcharo and then getting their dupe....
Btw I think ticket will work for a YEAR and Kuro games I heard will add some limited heroes to standard banner - so maybe better idea to hold on to it and pull the new standard hero instead.
I think I'm going to hold both 5-star selectors until I lose my first 50/50.
That way I have the best shot at collecting 4 different standard 5-stars.

Chixia has the highest Liberation multiplier as of now. Lv 10 at 954%+57.84*11 total at over 1590%. a bit higher than Havoc MC

@@Jaguarfan928 What I meant, grapple is preselected when airborne without reselecting it again in the utility menu. The cooldown of it DO need to be faster.
Jianxin is the closets I'll get to Noelle from Genshin aka turn brain off with a shield and heal and do crazy damage numbers.

I got verina from the 50pulls. Chose to get encore from the 80pull choice banner, got her in 20 pulls. Went for the weapon banner and got the rectifier in first 10 pull. Becaus eof this, I picked encore for my free 5star to increase her fusion dmg.
Jianxin from WuWa is like Clara from HSR. They're jack of all trades, master of none.

I don’t know why but I love Baizhis animations so much. The icy dinosaur just looks so cool but I feel a bit obligated to play Verina when I have her. Is Baizhi still good.
if it takes a week to get the 80 standard ulls then you probably aren't getting the second guaranteed yet, since you first have to complete the starter banner which can take up to 50 pulls

Encores Cosmos Rave RL doesn`t count for Jianxin outro skill? I mean is complete different playstyle while in Cosmos Rave.

Calcharo is cool but personally i like melee attackers the most such as Jianxi, Yanwu or Lingyang. Im using Danjin Verina and i will pick Jianxin from selector, and still thinking about which char to pick in the guaranteed 5* banner. It can be Calcharo or Lingyang. I dont like Encore.
What about dps Taoqi + MC + Jianxin team then? Taoqi just for burst while MC/Jianxin are on cd and theoretically has a decent burst damage scaling from DEF
The only choice is Verina in my opinion. I have Jiyan, Calcharo is close to being pulled from standard, and I was lucky enough to get the others. Except Encore, but she is meh..in my opinion.
People need to stop sleeping on Jianxin, her shield makes the game so easy you literally don't need to think anymore + she heals a ton

After the launch balance changes, the 3 best main DPS are shaping up to be Jiyan, Danjin, and Rover. None of the standard DPS characters matter. If you play Rover then one of your standard banner characters should be Jianxin. Rover feels a bit overtuned right now, but maybe thats intended, I dunno.
Yinlin needs to be mega busted to cover for Calcharo's mega nerfs, but if that happens then any future electro main DPS is going to completely eclipse Calcharo. It doesn't help that the free standard 5-star broadblade is ass compared to the sword version. So you gotta dump even more gems to try and get Jiyan's weapon banner if you don't want Calcharo to be way behind Danjin and Rover. I know its something a lot of people don't wanna hear, but it is what it is.

Calcharo DPS is relatively the same as back in CBT 2 if not higher apparently majority of the “nerfs” were already part of CBT2 all they technically did was buff him by added his old S2 into base kit allowing him to deal more dmg.
Edit: Apparently Jianxin is also Calcharo’s 2nd BIS buffer because of her outro skill buffing liberation dmg by 38% for 14 seconds combined with Verona buffs which puts his DPS near same level as the Yinlin + Verina buffed Calcharo. Also the nerf he received going into release was the plunge atk nerf everyone got.
Edit: Just to clarify what I meant about the 2nd part this is assuming Yinlin’s own dps is not taken into account.

You can change who is on the banner after you initially select btw. So you can get verina tomorrow if you want.

Hey MR POKKE I think you are overlooking the long term potential strategy. I am using all 3 of my free 5 stars on Calcharo because he was my beginner 5*. With the wavebands in the store it makes getting a r6 standard unit very reasonable long term for a FTP account. ESPECIALLY IF WUWA gives out more standard selectors. His r6 looks like a massive power spike imo (I also picked up the jinyan weapon for him)
