I just got off a Neel 45 Tri after a 650 mile loop of the Bahamas. We encountered nearly all wave states and points of sail, with 3 meters being the tallest average waves. The very fine entries of these boats, means that they slice rather than punch through waves, and the trimaran shape means less hobby horsing. The movement of the boat, while substantial, is also "softer" than comparable Cats I've sailed. I wish I had the dough for a '47 or '52.......

It seems more stable and less “bucking” at some points of sail than others. Is that just wave interaction?

@@FinleyAtty as far as I know the 45 is off the production schedule. 43, 47, 52 and the 65 are the present range.
