The plumbing was fascinating, and made for a really educational video, well done Joe.
Thanks Richard glad you found it interesting
You are correct Joe, the knot on your lasso is indeed a grinner. Neat system 👍
that's good to know :)
This video is the only 1 ive seen where the hook is actually tied to the lasso brilliant👏
Great camera work Joe really helps like the split screen
Hi Joe I'm a carp angler now but still love all your videos, but wow only found out about Mark O'Neil last night was so shocked. stay safe and stay strong.. Gazza
Very sad news Gazza.
@@MatchFishingFilms yes it woz the shock that hit me as I've known 10 plus to get it and get over it, this is where people who say it's all a load of *ollox get to me.
Great video Joe, cheers for that! Not used a lasso knot for years. I might need to get tying a few up, but do remember them snapping off in the landing net.
Yea they can be a pain. The net helps though
@@MatchFishingFilms Yes I'll also need to pick up one of they nets as even the odd banded pellet can get burst.
Yea they are handy even I you use banded hook lengths or quickstops
Cracking info Joe well done matey, nice and simple and patience is the key tightlines buddy,
Thanks Joe 🎣
The quality of your videos is second to none, I always learn so much watching them. Could you do a video on deep water commercial (av depth 8ft) mixed bags of ide, skimmers and carp win. Thanks
Thanks Steve what is the venue?
@@MatchFishingFilms Broom fisheries in Scotland.
Hi. Joe..great video again..keep up the good work..a class angler..
Thanks 👍
Supper video ,good in-depth
Thank you 🙂
MAP do a lasso loop sizer. about £4 if you can find one in stock. I just use a pellet.
another good one Joe - cheers mate - I also use the lasso but tie it slightly different to you.
Nice one!
Thanks for sharing well explained too.
Glad it was helpful!
Lovely first fish Jake, never heard of Yoke Hill before, it’s not that far from me. Just a quick question, on my local I’d be expected to use a 36 inch landing net for that lump, I’ve asked why, and response was that pan nets damage or injure the larger fish? Is that true? I don’t use one when match fishing. Strange.
If I was fishing solely for big fish I would use a bigger net, but to be honest I've never seen a fish injured in the smaller nets. But if there is the chance to catch lumps I will use a bigger net for sure.
Hi joe great video why do you prefer to fish 4mm instead of 6mm for carp,I understand 4mm for f1 ,cheers vic
Just a time of year thing. Another few weeks and it's 6mm all the way.
Nice relaxed presenter well done
Thank you kindly!
Great video thanks Joe
Glad you enjoyed it
Great video Joe. Going to have a go at making a fee lasso up 👍😮
Go for it!
Absolutely class thanks Joe you were perfectly correct totally loved the video 🌟🌟 more please 🌟🌟
Cheers Jeff.
Hey Joe,
I have the same gripper roost with a venta-lite large tray. Which attachment do you use to put the roost on the side of your tray? It caught my eyes.

Great video, especially the side view of the float, what was reason to using f1 maggot as opposed to f1 pellet float Joe.
I catch a lot of carp on the drop when fishing hard pellets so prefer the carbon stem :0

Ha! I bet you had Rob feeding that spot all night Joe? Ha! Ha! Ha!
Two days previous he was at it 🤣
Sensible fishing & sensible winning weights. Not a trawling venue, have to think.
Yea I like those places now I'm getting older 🤣
Are you assuming I’m old 😳 52 is the new 35 🤣
Can't beat a shuffler first chuck on the drop!
I'm hoping for one on Monday 😍
Professional video
Another brill vid Jo; excellent camera work as well; would be good to hear how you get on if you do manage to fish an open on the venue. Keep the vids coming - hope your cold is better now ! Jon W (using my wifes fb since logged out of mine)
I came second Jon :) will be back to make it a win on the next one :)
Another great video cheers mucca
Great tips there but, the background for tying knot could be improved...was difficult to see
I'll do a separate video and re do it 👍
@@MatchFishingFilms Maybe using some power gum or thicker line on a white background could be best.
Hi pal great video. Used these tactics over the weekend on a open water venue in 8ft and had a problem with foul hooking. What should I be considering to solve this issue and the balance between attracting new fish into the swim and making sure keep fish feeding on the bottom to ensure there properly hooked ?
In deeper water I'd be tempted to feed through a big pot. I've had success by covering the bottom of the big pot with 6mm's and then nailing the rig over the top until I get a bite. It's a slower way of fishing but can keep the fish down. The occasional bit of loose feed over the top doesn't hurt either
@@MatchFishingFilms thanks makes sense 👍
Great video Joe
Thanks 👍
Nice one joe 🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣
Thanks 👍
Great video Joe ... Why are you not using the new Dura slip hybrid electric ?
When the fishing is really hard I just love using 10 Dura Hollo and have done for a long time. It just stretches for miles and lets me land everything when time isn't of the essence. Another few weeks I will be on the 13 Dura Slip though
Cool I've just moved over to the 11 13 and 15 Dura slip hybrid and and hoping it great when I can get out on the bank as I'm in self isolation at the moment
Isnt rhat realy shortening the odds of catching though in the swim joe
?
Lol
Is accu power line diameter correct as the power line is a mile out
Yes it's bang on
Joe, what’s the difference between fin perfect and pro feed pellets? ...and have you used the new F1 feed pellets yet? Cheers.
The fin perfect are a standard coarse pellet. The pro are a high protein pellet that I prefer in the summer
Cheers. Appreciate that.
could not quite get the name of the oil you used on the hard pellets ?
Code red oil. I like it as it has a meaty aroma. But I've used loads in past. Salmon oil and simple sunflower oil work fine 👍
Do you not use a back shot on the across rig? Great video thanks.
Yea there is a back shot on it
@@MatchFishingFilms cheers Joe, I have new glasses on order!
Is that elastic ok for summer carp joe please
I would step up a few grades Simon :)
Whats the side tray and attachments you are using Joe ?

@@MatchFishingFilms got sound now lol ill watch straight away
@@stevehansler9014 cool I was panicking then 🤣
grey line /grey background not good with my eyes
7/10.. Enjoyed the upload until you attempted to display the lasso.. I couldn't see a thing, better lasso demonstrations out there... Maybe show us with knitting wool or a 20lb shock-leader.
