Amazing to see & hear this super-talented beautiful husband-wife couple take it to the next level with a fantastic guitar duet, and honor the spirit of the incomparable Jeff Beck. Oh my goodness-- what talent! Jeff Beck died on Jan. 10, 2023, one day before my beloved wife Laura left this Earth (from double pneumonia)-- he was always one of her very favorite guitarists. Together we listened to some of his greatest hits on RUclips just several weeks before she went into coma and passed to the realm of Spirit. So this tribute by Gretchen and Daniele is especially meaningful.
The Gretchen Menn Trio looks suspiciously quartetish! I’m prepared to overlook it considering the performances. On the off-chance that nobody thought of it before, when Gretchen said “..find your own voice..” the term Mennerisms sprang to mind.
It is mainly a trio band, though you just happened to land on the one that was a Beck tribute where her husband (Daniele) is a featured guest guitarist.
Is Thomas Perry the sticks man on Gretchen Menn’s “Abandon All Hope” album? I’m still kinda buzzing after a 3rd listen and feel inclined to try and nudge someone else towards its realm… It’s an instrumental, genre-fluid, shapeshifting weave of rock band and string quartet, featuring organ, piano, timpani(?) and ethereal voicing courtesy of Gretchen’s sister, Kirsten (It’s raining Menn, Hallelujah!) AND it’s a concept album. Track 7 is a drum solo?! ..check the story on the corresponding artwork.. “The ground quakes as thunderous howls erupt throughout the caverns.” I love all that stuff! If you like the opening track, you’re probably going to like the whole album but don’t by any means expect it all to be the same… Enjoy. ruclips.net/video/5vXt7dWB9yM/видео.htmlsi=jW_loFSEJxIDsvUp
I don't believe it was him on that album, but Tom has been a major part of her previous works and always behind the skins as part of the Gretchen Menn Trio. Her Abandon All Hope is a wonderful concept album, thanks for the references and link.
@@TheZepparellaFiles Tom is our man then, I reckon. Drums and percussion are credited to Thomas Perry but there just might have been two of ‘em. With the other info you’ve provided though, I’m sure you would have mentioned the coincidence of back-to-back same-name drummers! (particularly with names like Tom..Tom).

Gretchen is cool! Divine1
So much talent everywhere...so jealous 😢
That drumkit sounds gorgeous.
Hi! Gretchen is so awesome and talented guitarist !
Wow come on people this although not a original Menn piece but awesome the same
Looks like a green Strat?
All around sounds to enjoy. Just like Jeff
It's actually a blue shade of a MusicMan Sabre, incredibly nice looking guitar!

Sweetwater has made Ft Wayne Indy a Guitar Mecca. DG & GM should make a high impact video like Vai & Orianthi.
That would be freakin' awesome!
