Not sure about SFI but am certain that you will loose the helmet's FIA homologation by drilling your own holes. Holes can only be drilled by the helmet manufacturer.
Surely it would better to glue the microphone in place - the integrity and probably the warranty of the helmet would be void as soon as holes are drilled anywhere in it!
no wey. The helmet lost resistence to the impacts . The mic can be insta provisionally. but must be very ligth otherwise the user can finish with serious scars in his face. common sence guys. the vid as been done nicely bit sorry it's not safe at all .

Markus Engel any reply from them? These certified helmets cost too much to void their certs with drilling holes for a few $0.15 rivets.
