I myself firstly came to mission in New Delhi in 1966 was swami Vevekananda but entering the Temple the atmosphere was different but regular discourses in Auditiruom kept be encouraged as that was time of Swami Ranganathan and Swami Swahanand. Now after so many years when thoughts of Vevekand should have been in every school and college of the country but Mission frankly speaking failed because of this confusion as raised by swami jee in his lecture. I am sorry to say that mission could not reap the benifits of Great PM Modi being the follower of swami Vevekananda. It is true that all things which exist are an expression of the Divine. However, that is not a statement of value. The natural world which produces roses and medicinal herbs also produces toxic herbs and venoms. In themselves they are all 'Nature' and all have their role to fulfill within the broader Natural Order, Rita, but that does not mean that from the vantage point of human life all have the same consistent and equal value. If I assume 'All that exist is God/Belladona exist/ therefore Belladona is good' the error is in the imputation of an absolute value, 'good.' Further sometimes we might need a little Belladona when the Willow bark will not help, though normally, 'good' and could be harmful. It is the same with human religions, of all of which are limited and artificial constructs. They all have their role to play in the overall flow of the human social order, but that does not grant them all equal validity or Truth-value in themselves. That is not the teaching of the Vedic Seers. In the era of the Rig Veda they confronted the cults of the Dasyus which were cannibalistic and inhumane, much like a global movement today. The Seers explicitly state they are "false gods" and sacrificed for their defeat to protect the Five Tribes.
