For sure it was just a frozen cargo door or more precisely the locking pins of the door got stuck in their holes in the structure of the fuselage. When this aircraft arrived from Egypt where it is hot or warm plus the humidity and moisture and then spend some time at its cruising altitude with temperatures of -50 or -60 degrees Celsius then all this moisture around the pins got frozen and that takes time to melt.. on a Boeing 747 even with the electrical operated fwd and aft cargo door this can last up to one hour until the mechanism gets free again.

Bin mit dem am gleichen Tag dann nach Hurghada geflogen , und beim Start gabs dann wieder 1 Stunde eine Reparatur.

Soweit ichs verstanden hab , war eines der Positionslichter defekt , kann mich auch täuschen , das Englisch der Durchsage war sehr schlecht zu verstehen.
