I was there; I was 11 years old. It was surreal - no concert will top this for me. Never did I think I’d be able to watch it back all this time later.

My wife and I were there with friends who owned a local cable company, and got tickets from someone at Black Entertainment Television (BET). We had no idea where our seats were. Ushers came down the line checking tickets. They looked at our tickets and said, "Come with us". I thought, "Oh no, the tickets must be bootleg". They ushered us ahead of everyone and right into the Staples Center lobby. Everyone was very nice, but we still had no idea what was going on. Another usher led us up three flights of stairs. Now I'm guessing we're up in the nosebleed section - as far from Paul as a person could get.
The usher stopped by a door that said BET on it. "Your seats are through this door", he smiled. I opened the door - and there we were - staring at BET's Private Suite right above the stage! It was fully-loaded with a bar, carpeting, sofas, cushy seats - and room service. We were so close, we could've pelted Paul with Jelly Babies! Best of all, nobody from BET showed up. We had the suite all to ourselves. My wife yelled down to Paul, who looked up and saw us waving - so, he gave a quick wave back. What a great night. Now we can enjoy it again and again.
