Isaac's whole San Francisco Days album is great.
The title track "San Francisco Days" is a gem, but I agree that the whole album is great.

Chris Isaak is way more than a one hit wonder. Wicked Game is good, but he has some great songs in his arsenal. "Blue Spanish Sky", "Baby Did a Bad, Bad Thing", "Life Will Go On", "I Wonder" and many others. He is his own vibe.

I am from the 80's gen and when this broke onto the airwaves in 93 it was huge......Glad you guys are discovering our generations music, nothing really comes close today imo. James Calvin Wilsey played his 1965 Fender Stratocaster intro and outro on this track which gave it it's hauntingly smooth guitar reverb and can only be described as....... sublime!

I think it's a pedal steel guitar. The pedals allow them to bend the notes like that.
I am thinking a guitar with a Bigsby and Filterron pick ups i.e Gretsch, those bends are so controlled, but a Strat also has that bright sound.
OKAY AYE I ran into this track driving while my dad put on a Bee Gees station on Spotify. I deadass being born in the 2000 never heard anything like this. I had to repeat it a few times cause it was so smooth. Then I figured ain’t no way anyone else from the modern day heard this. Now y’all got a reaction like THANK YOU I get this too!
