It’s called a “rec deck” in Boston. Which is usually a tiny closed off little basketball court looking thing but you can barely do sh*t bcuz you’re in restraints. You only get out for 1hr a day except sundays & they could come to ya cell at anytime. You get 1 hour to take a shower, use the phone &/or go out on the deck. A lot of fights happen too cuz that’s where all the rowdy ppl are, & ppl get on each other’s nerves yelling out the cell door all day & night talking & arguing. It’s called a “rec deck” in Boston. Which is usually a tiny closed off little basketball court looking thing but you can barely do sh*t bcuz you’re in restraints. You only get out for 1hr a day except sundays & they could come to ya cell at anytime. You get 1 hour to take a shower, use the phone &/or go out on the deck. A lot of fights happen too cuz that’s where all the rowdy ppl are, & ppl get on each other’s nerves yelling out the cell door all day & night talking & arguing. Some guys be spending most their time in there if they run a gang or have too much bad influence over other inmates. It’s like “The Chokey” on Matilda!
