This is an impressive amp. I picked it up a few months ago aiming for a Polytone-style amp. This one actually improved on that. However, I've chosen to sell it because I won't be doing live gigs anymore and thus, don't need the extra volume or portability.
is very good on the arch top....same as plugging in a home hifi for the Manouche...twetter specially on guit amps are not a good idea ,I would never buy something like it...good playing.
you can disable the twetter on that amp if needed, there is a switch on the back, or enable it i.e. if you sing trough a microphone on the second channel.
I’m so impressed with your playing! What mic did you use to clip/piezo/pick up to your acoustic guitar? I tried reading in your gear list and couldn’t tell.
Amazing playing, sound and content as always On the acoustic guitar side , how do you connect them to the amp? I mean via piezo or the small mic that you have mounted on the hole? If so could you tell us which model the mic is?
Fantastic. Can you tell me what gauge strings and what strings you are using on the archtop?(Ive been trying for years to get that tone!) Such a Beautiful Tone. Sorry Ive just seen in the transcript! What are your amp settings-treble bass etc?
I wonder how it sounds compared to the 10 inch? I’ve never been satisfied with small speakers but I’m guessing this amp/speaker is a little more hifi/efficient compared to a champ. My arch top sounds really good though a 10 inch. The arch top with a 12” tends to have too much bass and needs to be eq’d. The compact size of this amp makes it so tempting. I’m also curious if you can run the pickup in one channel and an acoustic clip on in the other and blend?
You can blend and that’s basically what I do. Pickup plus mic for gypsy jazz. You can also send both channels separately to mixer if you use a Y cable in the back with the effect loop. The tiny speaker really works for jazz. In the context of this music better to think of a speaker size like a bell of a horn. In rock or fusion speaker size is like the size of a bass drum. That’s my philosophy anyway. If you get one use our promo code at check out for a discount! Marbin2305
Hi, what settings do you use for gypsy jazz, I’ve got a piezo pickup but I’m finding the amp sounds too electric for that style did you turn off the tweeter ?
Nice, ... you have a nice connection and touch in playing .. Is there a way to record form it .. line out .. etc... or just mic it? ˆwent to the link .. very nice explanations etc....
I will be thinking on this one for sure and make sure to try to remember to go through you. Thanks for your time and showing/sharing. And thanks for being in tune 🙂@@marbinmusic
His comprehension of rhythm elements to push songs along is most impressive. And his ability to play articulate gypsy lines with the right touch of embellishments that make them so musical and well manicured is jaw dropping.
Came here for the amp, stayed for the playing.
Was going to type the exact same 9 words
Ditto
Great vid. Lovely playing. …But when you don’t Mike the amp, we don’t know the audible limitations of the speaker.
It's the Gypsy in your playing that makes it so distinct! With your electric you are a mix of Steve Vai and Bireli Lagrene.
Thanks man
Ordered one today .. I really enjoy your playing ... pat
Thanks! You won’t regret it
Love the playing. Especially the Archtop tone. Thanks
The jazzbox(d’angelico?) sounded the best by far to my ears.
Yep, it’s a D’an EXL1.
I’ve got one myself.

Just picked up the Bud 10. It's fantastic!

Anyone know what mic/pickup Dani has clipped on the the sound hole of his acoustics?
I was going to ask the same question
@@MichaelMakowski2006 It looks like the Audio Technica PRO70
Indeed! That’s the only thing I ever found that really works for me
Most henriksen demos i hear sound like shit, yours sounds GREAT. Kudos!
Light as a feather? What kind of feathers you got?

Sweet sweet sweet licks dood.
The song starting at 4:23 is beautiful. Very sweet and tasteful playing. What song is that?
Thanks. It’s I’m confessin’
Man thats some hot gypsy jazz!
You’re too kind
Great amp and music!
Thabks
Outstanding. Make and model of your guitar please?
Both the Oval and D hole are by Marin. No model. They are one offs
Refreshing to hear a guitarist favor musical taste over mind-boggling technique.
His comprehension of rhythm elements to push songs along is most impressive. And his ability to play articulate gypsy lines with the right touch of embellishments that make them so musical and well manicured is jaw dropping.
What’s the name of the last song you played?
Prelude to a Kiss the intro anyway!
Anyone selling this amp in Europe / Italy?
Use the promo code in the description. I think they ship works wide
