Jacob Markstrom's New Calgary Flames Goalie Mask 2021/2022 Season

- Here's a close up look at Jacob Markstrom's new Calgary Flames goalie mask for the 2021/22 season. The overall design of this mask is a Flaming skull with hockey teeth!! That itself is pretty awesome but at a closer look there are some really cool details. The skull is carved with some tributes to past Calgary Flames mask design elements. Carved on the top of the head is a fire breathing dragon, a tribute to a past mask of Trevor Kidd. The flaming skull from Miikka Kiprosoff's classic design is displayed as carved on the temples of both sides of the mask. Carved in the jaw and some backgrounds throughout the mask are hot rod style flame designs, a throwback to Mike Vernon's 93/94 mask. Markstrom's number 25 is in the center of the jaw as if it were carved right through, with roots of teeth visible still hanging in empty space. On both side of the mask mirrored, there is the Calgary Flames 'Flaming C' logo as if fully engulfed in fire and the flames are spreading up the sides of the skull which is also burning from the eyes and nose. On top of this is also the Swedish Three Crowns and probably the funnest detail of all is the skulls teeth, or rather the lack thereof. Made to match the unique and unmistakable smile of Markstrom's good friend and teammate Chris Tanev!!

Oh and on top of all this and not pictured in this video is one extra custom element I added to this design.. Custom straps!! When you see this mask on the Ice have a look at the backplate straps, I custom painted them to look like cross bones and fire!! Should be a very cool look to complete the entire ensemble!!
