Thankyou for the info. Need to know is the General option for the auto meshing included in 16 version of etabs because i cant find one .

I tried using general mesh in irregular slabs. however, I was getting errors that load was not being transferred from balconies to the floor slab. The deflection contours didn't make sense as one slab was completely dropping off. It seems general mesh isn't good if you have two separate curved slabs modelled next to each other. Surprisingly rectangular mesh worked in that instance.

When I export results from Etabs and try to model foundation whether strip or raft, I get some areas with strange meshing(a meshing gap) and high concentration of reinforcement in that region. Whether those areas needs to be manually meshed or other solution. Please show us. Any other viewer can also help. Also if the Raft is with different thickness, say raft below walls are having more thickness and rest area with comparatively less thickness. This issue normally observed with meshing along grid when I think mesh size are not in line with the grid.

how do you manually manipulated the connectivity between the nodes for third wall?
