Hello Japet. I've been following ur family's journey to resettle in the Czech Republic. Actually, I started following u guys over two years ago when u first mentioned moving after ur Landlord raised ur rent. We actually have similar situations. This is why I can really relate to u guys' emotional decision to "leave it all behind" (so to speak), to pursue a more meaningful life for u and ur family. I am a Fil AM with a wife & two 6 Yr old twin boys. I retired in 2020. My wife is younger than me. Like Hanah, she was still very gamefully employed in a good job, which she loved. But we had decided many years before that we would move back to the Philippines after I retire. We could have continued living in America, a country we will always love. A country that has given us everything we have. But in the end, our decision was for a better quality of life for family. Sounds familiar? I have been reliving thru ur guys last few weeks in England, the same emotional moments, the concerns, the melancholy feeling of leaving ur country for a completely new world. You are leaving everything u know, everything u have come to rely on. England has been good to you. I guess I would like you guys to know that in the end, you are doing what is right for you. It will be a bit strange maybe at first but as you guys slowly settle into the Czech R, where Hanah has family, you will see that it was the right move. That's how it was for me and my family. Anyway, just wanted to maybe share some words of comfort and encouragement for u guys. You are a good man with a wonderful life partner in Hanah. You are both awesome parents to a lovely young lady in Pingkay. Looking forward to watching the next chapter with the FilipinoCzech Family!!
