Yeah, I don't think that she was trying to sound whiny or anything she just wanted to say what was on her mind. I don't think she meant to get sympathy or anything. But I understand what Demigod0 is saying, too many people like to get sympathy these days. People just want to get attention all the time so its hard not to snap when you hear someone complain.
