----Don’t underestimate the power of little things. Jesus took a little lunch from a little boy and fed thousands. With a little jawbone, Samson slew an army. David took a little stone and brought down a giant. With just a little faith, great things can be accomplished.
--Song of Solomon 2:15----IT’S THE LITTLE FOXES THAT SPOIL THE VINE-- what are the little things that you are doing, saying, thinking, practicing that are detrimental towards God’s plan on your life?? small moves can lead to great gains--- when small moves are repeated over time, you’ll one day look up and realize you’ve traveled all the way from where you were to exactly where you always dreamed you’d be.
-Story-the captain of the Titanic-it’s just a tiny little ice-berg - we’re in a big ship it won’t matter--- little things matter---- Neglecting faithfulness in the little things can lead to big trouble. As much as David brought down a giant with something little, a small indiscretion - a lingering lustful look - turned into adultery, deception, and even murder. He lost four of his sons and nearly the kingdom over something that started with a little look at Bathsheba taking a bath.
---I Corinthians 5:6-“Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?”
----The Christian writer E.G. White puts it this way: “It is one of Satan’s most successful devices, to lead men to the commission of little sins, to blind the mind to the danger of little indulgences, little digressions from the plainly stated requirements of God. Many who would shrink with horror from some great transgression, are led to look upon sin in little matters as of trifling consequence. But those little sins eat out the life of godliness in the soul”
----The Great Chicago Fire occurred in 1871. Evidently, in Mrs. O’Leary’s barn, a cow twitched its leg and kicked over a lamp. That lamp broke and caught a wisp of hay on fire. Soon, the whole barn was up in flames, which then spread to and consumed the city. Hundreds of people died and millions of dollars of damage occurred, all from a twitching cow.
In James 3:5, we learn, “Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things. See how great a forest a little fire kindles!” (NKJV). The tongue is a very small part of our body when compared to something like our heart. But it can create problems as bad as a heart attack if we’re not careful with how we use it. LITTLE WORDS can CAUSE BIG PROBLEMS or lead to GREAT VICTORIES. --A little thing called-apologizing, saying sorry goes a long way-- it’s a small act-but it leads to a great path-Your small obedient acts lead to God-glorifying paths. A good name is worth more than anything--- PROVERBS 22:1
Character is made up of choices like a big rope made up of little strands all tied together- integrity is choosing to do what’s right even when no one is watching and one way we can have good character with integrity is being honest… -Psalms 101:2 I will be careful to lead a blameless life, and to lead a life of integrity in my own home. (Honesty starts with those closest to you)
-How you treat the small things in life will be how you treat the big things in life The life you lead in private is ultimately going to be the life you lead in public. Galatians 6:9 - don’t give up- don’t grow weary- stick with it.
“For who hath despised the day of small things?” (Zechariah 4:10)

Last night I listened to the sermon about God performing miracles, in the morning I woke up and shared it with my siblings and father. I’m in college so money is tight, I went in to Aldi’s to grab some things for food as I can’t afford to eat out, I was at the checkout line with my things and a lady behind me told the cashier she was adding my bill to hers and I was in shock, she gave me a hug and said God bless to me, and that she was paying it forward. Like this sermon, it’s the LTTLE things, she made my day, and I always fought it so cool after I spread the word of god, that god touched me with that woman without me even asking. God bless everyone, so happy I found my way to this RUclips channel!
