This song completely got my love of 80's horror, the macabre AND the song was incredible to boot!! Muse sold me on this album with this song (I already was excited with Won't Stand Down), but the organ vibe & industrial feel with this was wonderful!
When I first heard this I had to check to see if it wasn't a Ghost song

So glad one of you picked up on the outro being from Bach's Toccata and Fugue in Dm! I've watched a fair amount of reaction videos to this song and you're one of the few that noticed it. When Muse play this live Matt plays the intro to that Bach song as the intro to this song, really cool, go check it out.

The band Me and that Man the song called Under the spell Tobias Forge is singing under the name of Mary Gore who he was called in his old band Repugnant
Also, the yellow jacket is a double reference, IT (Georgie wears it whilst looking down the storm drain) and Shelley Duvall in The Shining.

@@FlameImperishable The red car in the first 10 seconds is a nod to Steven King's "Christine". At 00:47 there is a dead woman which is a reference to Carrie, which I did have to look up, at 00:53 there is a hockey player "Jason", 1:33 the floating girl from the Exorcist, and there is probably more!

The one I’ve seen missed is the penguin falling off the table at 0.38. That’s a reference to Stephen King’s Misery (the movie).
